    I have been with Wells Fargo going on 10 years. In this time period, the customer service has…read moredramatically declined. They do not offer convenient hours for in person services for those that have an 8am to 5pm job. I went up on there today on a Saturday for a simple name change. I sat there 30 minutes to be told if I don't have an appointment, I may not be helped. Then 2 minutes later, a representative comes and ask if I have my marriage certificate (I live 5 minutes from the Rowlett location) and I advise I do not but have my updated SS card and driver's license with my name change. She advises they can't help me. I will need to make an appointment and come back. So I asked to close my account and again, she could not help me and asked me to come back. This bank is HORRIBLE!! I don't have time to come back as I'm normally not in town on the weekends and they aren't open for reasonable working class people during the week. I highly recommend not using this bank. There are too many other banks with decent working hours and that are more than willing to accommodate the working class. Also, before typing this review, I called to place a complaint which can only be done over the phone Monday thru Friday from 9 to 5pm.

The bankers just look at you and do nothing to help the tellers. Also tried helping my mom activate her debit card but it's not working. Called online and was given no help but told to go to the branch. The branch was closed due to Covid 19 and I'm still not getting any help. My Mom has been without a debit card since June 1st. We filed a complain and all we got was a letter telling us to go to the bank that was CLOSED. I'm currently trying to get my folks to change banks and switch to my credit union.

    Let me preface, this experience would have easily been a five star rating if it weren't for the…read morewoman that was managing the drive-through. I'm not sure if her name is "Rania" or "Rhonda", it was unclear. She was the furthest on the right when facing the counter. I'm no stranger to in person banking, I'm in my early 40s. I came in to make a deposit & have never been to this location before. From my understanding it is a shared co-op and I wanted to make a cash deposit. I approach the counter, the woman is extremely transactional and dry. Generally after greeting and stating what your business is, the teller will ask you to either provide ID or an account number, she did neither. I had to ask her what she needed from me. I had the funds, my ID & account number ready. I tell her that I want to make a deposit & ask her does she want my ID or an account number? She replied, ID or account. I hand her my ID, she begins her search in the computer and then says that I need a deposit slip (I am aware). Generally deposit slips are at the counter with the teller, not saying that they aren't also in the lobby but I've never been to this location before so I am not aware of their location or that they are even in their lobby. I don't normally bank here. I fill out my deposit slip and return to the counter, thank goodness with a different teller. I believe she said her name was Alexia. She was very sweet and customer service exceptional. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make my deposit because my institution is no longer apart of the shared branch network with this institution. No problem at all. However "Rania" needs to improve her lack of customer service because that was unacceptable.

I don't normally acknowledge and/or give kudos because good customer service is very rare. He smart, polite and respectful - I believe he has a bright future.
