I have been a Truly Nolen customer since at least 2012. For months, we've been dealing with termites in a custom table we use for prepping orders. They started by spraying the surface--surprise, surprise, it didn't work. Then, they dragged us along for a heat treatment that took forever to schedule, only to tell us last minute it couldn't be done because of our sprinklers! Buyer beware: I have been a Truly Nolen customer for over 12 years. I purchase the yearly plan where they come and treat my townhome (inside and out) 4 times a year, and for this you get a "discounted" rate. Comes to about $100/per treatment. Up until recently, the tech who services my unit treats the inside and outside of my townhouse. My plan renews in late July, and I was wondering why I was not contacted for them to schedule a treatment in August. When I called, I was advised that, without my knowledge, the tech came to my unit in early August - when I was home inside - and merely sprayed the outside of my townhouse only. When I complained about the fact that the tech did not come inside, I was told that they don't have to - that Truly Nolen can simply service the outside, never come inside to treat for bugs - and charge me the $100 fee for that quarterly treatment. This is absurd! I would never pay so much for an outside service only. I called Truly Nolen 3 different times to talk to a manager, but the manager never returned my call. (Truly Nolen claims he called me, but I was home for 2 days waiting for that call. It never happened). So, please be aware that Truly Nolen considers a treatment just to the outside of a townhouse as a full service treatment. They believe that they DO NOT have to come INSIDE and treat for bugs to fulfill their obligations. Needless to say, I am cancelling my contract. read more

These guys are great sales people and awful exterminators. When it's time for getting quotes they will make the issue sound like a horrible infestation, but when you actually hire them the problem still persists and when you call for follow ups they come to your home to inspect and they say "they can't find anything" and do nothing. I found they are very un knowledgeable and their staff contradicts each other with their conclusions. DO NOT get the wall injection treatment, it's worthless. After you buy it they will say it themselves. Also their pest control service is awful! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE !! I contracted Truly Nolan regarding an insect problem in a condo that I own. I paid them $200 upfront and $35 per month for a 6 month service. After 5 months I cancelled the service due to no change in the insect activity. I disputed my last payment on my credit card. I am now getting billed for the last payment of $35 even though I paid almost $400 for a service that didn't work. I have spoken several times with a manager named Mark and I am still getting bills after 3 months of trying to get this resolved. My advise.......don't pay anything in advance of the service until you make sure it will work or better yet use another company for your pest control. read more

Truly Nolen is Truly the worst pest control company. They miss appointments, and when they finally arrived to treat termites in my house, they literally skipped my laundry room without me knowing. Needles to say I found droppings there for weeks after they treated. After I called them to come back they were so late for the appointment I had to reschedule. When they finally did come out they agreed they didn't treat the room. I have a contract with them to treat insects that I will be canceling. Do not use this company. read more

This company doesn't honor their word, I will never use them. They came to one of our 25 commercial locations and they gave me a quote for tenting, we asked that they schedule it for a specific day and they said that they would do it, based on this, we were ready to sign the contract. We scheduled all our contractors around what Truly Nolen told us, our scheduled day was Friday, they came to my office with the contract on Wednesday and said "oops sorry we can't do it for that day, then said we can do it next week; I contacted my supervisor and informed him of the situation, he was so upset, but I convinced him to rescheduled our contractors and reschedule Truly Nolen. I called Truly Nolen, they said that they can't do it now until next month. They told me that they miss-quoted us, that is why they gave us the runaround, this company is unreliable, dishonest and unprofessional. read more

So I take off time from work to have this company inspect for what I believe are termites. They go through their preliminary list of requirements (is there a gate, will we need a ladder, etc). The morning comes when they are supposed to arrive and I get a phone call saying the inspector doesn't have his ladder, can we reschedule the appointment? REALLY? Doesn't have his ladder? And who do these people think we are, Donald Trump where we have our entire day to screw off and play golf. We have to work for a living and having to reschedule an appointment because you forgot something like a ladder (isn't that an important staple of a pest control company?) is infuriating. read more

STOP & read contract throughout vs relaying on sales people. If buying their TOTAL TERMITE TREATMENT & Three Zone Protection with $1 million repair warranty MAKE sure it is throughly & properly Documented, marked & initialed by you on contract and you receive the $1m dollar warranty certificate BEFORE you hand in your payment !!!! I cannot stress the importance of this. I am extremely thorough and detail oriented and failed to do this & have now learned that I paid $2k in 2009 & have been renewing my contract since then thinking I was fully covered when in actuality I was not, as my initials are missing in the repair and re treatment guarantee option thus reason I never received the certificate I had been told would be "in the mail". My story... I had never dealt with termites & when my exterminator told me I had them I was overwhelmed. He suggested Truly Nolen for their excellent services and delivery of customer satisfaction. I did some research & signed a contract in 2009 under their TTP (total termite protection) . I was given their "TTP " & "Three zone protection plan" brochure and the salesman advised that as stated on brochures I was protected for up to $1million dollars in damages. My house was treated & tented for termites and years later I signed a new contract for rodents to include their treatment for a racoon infestation (compliments of my next door tenant who left food out for his pets). It was during this incident about 4 yrs ago that I was blessed to meet ALEX PERNAS who immediately identified the infestation after their techs had misdiagnosed the stains on ceiling & foul smell as humidity from a leaky roof (though I insisted my roof was new and in excellent condition). After meeting ALEX the situation was resolved by TN with support not from the local office but corporate who proactively subcontracted another company & later treated my attic and Removed & replaced all the insulation. Though process was a nightmare I was satisfied with the results. Fast forward to 2017/2018 and nightmares of dealing with this company since the passing of their principal. After experiencing non existent response or ownership due to turn over from District, Branch manager, technicians & untrained reps I reached out to Alex who had since been promoted but still wore the original TN customer satisfaction badge. My house was tented after several months and futile attempts at local treatment which were a delay strategy. Tenting work was then subcontracted by TN to Select (as they no longer do tenting themselves in Miami). Select is owned by a previous TN employee and owner and his son did an excellent job however unlike done at previous tenting there was No follow through from TN or follow up afterwards. I contacted the District Manager to claim damage to walls, baseboards and interior & exterior wood without success, escalated to corporate & after reaching out to ALEX they came to inspect. Afterwards I was advised that my contract did not include repairs but agreed to retouch/ repaint all's damaged by their numerous local treatments which I had painted in between. It is sad to see the downfall of such a company upon passing of the principal as it obvious to long term customers as myself that his family is not managing the company with the same passion & commitment he once did. Ownership to delivery of customer service & satisfaction is a must starting st the top as it is employee training & retention. I hope this happens soon and wish ALEX and the few old timers who remain committed success in getting the new management to commit to tried and true processes that once made Truly Nolen a great company. read more

So we had the exterminators who use the rat car come get our new post Hurricane house guest. So they sent the first guy who walked around and said he was the inspector and didn't actually have any traps. Then the next guy came the next day and had a few little traps and argued they must kill the rat - there were no options to catch it alive. We tried their traps and nothing happened so I thought again about how I really wanted to NOT kill it and found a no-kill trap on Amazon. I read that you should let the trap sit out empty for a little while so the rat becomes accustomed to it so we just left it on the counter the first night. The next night we left it open with an almond right at the door - not on the trap but so he would come into it comfortable. He stole the almond. Last night I put an almond and some seeds on the trigger in the back and this morning I woke up to a caught live rat. Two weeks, multiple calls from Truly and I ended up solving my problem myself and better then they offered. read more

I am on my condominium's board of directors, located in South Beach. We had a termite problem in our building's common areas, and I contacted Truly Nolen. They scheduled a free inspection per the Yelp deal. Mr. Tony Ogrodnik, a State Licensed Inspector, came out within 24 hours and gave us an honest assessment of the situation and advised us how to remedy the problem. He also confirmed that what I thought were termites in my front door actually constituted old termite damage and not a live colony, therefore treatment was unnecessary. Mr. Ogrodnik was knowledgeable and professional, and although we were relieved to not need expensive treatment or tenting at this time, I would not hesitate to contact Truly Nolen in the future. read more

Based on the building manager recommendation we called Truly Nolen and I spoke with Danielle Smith who was super helpful and accommodating. Based on other Yelp reviews, I requested that Anntonio Briceno come out for the free inspection. He was everything the reviews said and more! He was super courteous and helpful! TRULY NOLEN of America (False GUARANTEE)- As explained in the promotion card after a year they come and do an inspection being part of your contract but in less than year I was already seeing termites AGAIN! They came for the inspection and we showed them the location in where we had seen the insects and we had also saved a couple in a little jar to have prove that we had termites in the house once again! We spoke with Crystal March 9, 2015 for the inspection appointment & then spoke with Manuel Gutierrez (Manny) the day of the inspection on March 20, 2015. As the process of the inspection not only did we fill out the "Fumigation Program Checklist" he also told us that he would speak with his manager about this situation but clearly said from Manny we had two options to choose from re-do the tent procedure and another option. Up to this day April 12, 2015 we haven't received any feedback for this matter. read more

They came out and did the house fumigation when scheduled. We assume all is well, we will know as time goes by if the tenting of the house for termites worked. Service with this office runs hot and cold. The house was tented on July 26 and to this day they still have not taken off the lock box from our front door and returned our home key. During the tenting process the sales person also tried helping by removing some boards that were in the way for the proper tenting of our home. Unfortunately, he broke the boards off the fence vs. removing them. They do not cover the damages for the fence which were not big. the left one of their hoses in our neighbors yard and it took five days before they picked it up, neighbor was not happy. You have to deal with the service center in Arizona when you call in. They try to be helpful but as I said we still have a lockbox on our front door. read more

We called others and they were not coming out without being paid when they arrived or pushing their quarterly services on us. We had one of their representatives come over and inspect the entire house for pests!! He was here for a while that's how thorough he was - he checked inside and out and climbed into the attic too!! He gave us a couple of suggestions and said he didn't find anything!! How refreshing this was!! An honest pest control company! I will call them next time and would strongly recommend them for any type of pest control problem. I'm sure they will handle these situations with integrity and honesty. I was impressed! So disappointed! I have used them for a few years until recently I had problems with ticks. I called them and they assured me they can treat ticks. They came to spray my home, but the technician refused to spray the back and front of my home (I have pavers, but there is a strip of grass as well.) A few days later I saw ticks walking in my house again. I called them and they came again to spray. When I requested the outside to be sprayed again, the tech person said he did not have the chemical (second time he was coming to treat the same issue.) A few days later I saw ticks again, and for the third time they came (without treating the outside.) This time I decided to luck up the chemical they were using because I was surprised it was not working, and it ended being a product to treat fleas and proven not to be effective with ticks. When I called to complain, the dispatcher told me that was the chemical the technician said should be used and did not research the issue further. I ended up hiring a different company that was effective and guaranteed its job (ticks were gone after two visits.) When I called to cancel my service with Truly Nolen, a manager spoke to me and was very apologetic, telling me that he wished he would have known of the issue before, that they did have chemicals to treat the outside of the home etc. Today I have received a phone call from them urging me to pay for my last service (I have received the bill but it is not due until the end of the month.) This really upsets me. They do not feel sorry for customers, all the empathy the manager showed is totally fake. Worst customer service ever. Branch 083 is the worst. I will NEVER used them again and I will advice all my friends to do the same read more
