There is at least one lifeguard on duty until 5. You're technically swimming in the Peconic River just before it empties into Gardiners Bay. The view is of Shelter Island, and it's quite charming.

Despite the chill and the howling wind, I was able to get quite close to the lighthouse and enjoy the view of Plum Gut. This is the very tip of the northern fork at the very end of Long Island. There are no amenities here. It's a beach park without toilets or shelters. Probably great for fishing. On a warmer and sunnier and less rainy day, this would be a fabulous park. We like Kenney's beach & McCabe's on the sound but it seems that the beaches on the bay are much calmer and you can keep your umbrella up without the wind blowing it over. Very serene watching the sailboats and shelter island across the bay. The parking is really great and bathrooms are available too. P.S. Go to Billy's by the Bay (Wednesday-Sunday opened only) after to get some lobster as located on the same road :)

The trails are well marked and it's a nice, scenic hike through the woods. Even better, on a hot day, the trails are under a canopy providing ample shade. Just note that the trails are narrow and there's quite a bit of poison oak along them so use caution. Also note, the entrance on 25A is hidden but noticeable by the red Audubon Society House. A nice park for a nature walk and recommended.

He is an excellent driver, both navigating out of the marina and trying to throw teenagers off the inner tube. The boat was immaculate, and had plenty of room for us to lounge, drink, and dance. The sound system was amazing. The sail was beautiful. And most importantly, I cannot say enough about our captain JR. He was friendly, fun, and did everything in his power to make sure we had a blast. (Side recommendation- we added on a few hours of a jet ski to our sail and it was worth it!). I 100% recommend. It was worth every penny and was a day we will never forget.

He was friendly, knowledgeable, and we felt comfortable being really annoying and weird in front of him. The sail itself was just a short ride in the bay, where we anchored close to a beach. We loved dancing on the boat, trying out the SUP board (included), basically chugging our BYOB drinks (no hard liquor allowed on board), taking pics lounging in the net, gawking at the yachts, and pretending the pool noodles were seahorses that we were riding. Bachelorette stuff! I think we had the Mon Mini boat, probably the smallest option. Included: one SUP board, bluetooth speaker, cooler, two pool noodles, the captain.

They provided two Yeti coolers and a Bluetooth speaker for music which was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped take pictures for our group and the sailing was very smooth. I would definitely book again, probably earlier in the summer for the 3 hour cruise to be able to do the paddleboarding.
