We booked this place about an hour and a half in advance, and everything exceeded our expectations! The boat was perfect for our 2 families: very comfortable and spacious, but could still be used for tubing, etc. Captain George, or should I say King George, was amazing! He is an excellent driver, both navigating out of the marina and trying to throw teenagers off the inner tube. He's a perfect mix of friendly and nice while still allowing you to have private conversations and enjoy yourself. Anybody looking to spend an afternoon on the water should seriously consider booking this place. Bring some food and drinks, and expect a great time! read more

We rented the 32 foot Sunray for a half day sail for my girlfriend's birthday. It was the most AMAZING experience, and my girlfriend said it was her best birthday ever. The boat was immaculate, and had plenty of room for us to lounge, drink, and dance. The sound system was amazing. The sail was beautiful. And most importantly, I cannot say enough about our captain JR. He was friendly, fun, and did everything in his power to make sure we had a blast. (Side recommendation- we added on a few hours of a jet ski to our sail and it was worth it!). I 100% recommend. It was worth every penny and was a day we will never forget. read more

Meet the Manager: Captain Sean H.

I grew up on the sea. As a boy, my father took me fishing on his 35' Sea Ray. At seven years old, I'd sailed all over The Hamptons. At twelve, I captained my own boat to East Hampton and Shelter Island. The awesome responsibility fed my soul and humbled me. Certified as a Master Captain by the United States Coast Guard, I enjoy sharing my passion with tourists and adventurers on these beautiful yachts. It's my joy to help you experience The Hamptons lifestyle and hidden treasures of Peconic Bay, including Shelter Island and Sag Harbor. I specifically enjoy taking guests to our hidden coves of Shelter Island, introducing them to Sunset Beach on our Hamptons sunset cruise and I enjoy the excitement of catching fish with families.

Our driver was Steve and he was great! He reached out about a week before our wine trip to get to know us and types of wineries we like. He showed up early on our day and was a great tour guide! He had great places to recommend and knew a lot about the area and each individual winery. Steve was really good about dropping us off at the door and then getting the car ready before we were about to leave. Great service! Steve was a local favorite. As a local I have visited this 16 acre garden almost every year. I have great memories of school field trips, participating in the student art competitions, taking my high school senior banquet photos here and more. There are countless contemporary sculptures including permanent items and items on loan. Almost every time you come back there is something new and wonderful to look at! (The Red Garden is my favorite). It's also fun to look for frogs and turtles in the pond! You'll have a great time just strolling through the garden (especially during the summer) or when attending an after hours event. Just plan accordingly, come soon to get parking otherwise you'll have to park on the street. Overall I usually have a fantastic experience. If you're visiting The Hamptons, definitely check out The LongHouse Reserve! Despite my love for the LongHouse, I do have the rate the LongHouse Illuminated experience a 1/5. I would not recommend this event. It's a pretty hefty price for not much to look at ($35 for Non-Members, $20.00 for members, $15.00 for students and FREE for Children under 12 years old). When you first walk in the Docents will check you in since you have to register online. They were incredibly kind and helpful. After that the shop and restrooms are to your left. (I bought a cute beanie!) From there I started walking on the path and wrote my wish on the Wish Tree. The paths were poorly lit and only a few sculptures were illuminated. There was a small hut with a tacky snowflake projection on it. I mildly regret paying $35 per person to attend an illumination event when only thing really illuminated was the path. However, the Fly's Eye Dome and the House were incredible! We weren't able to stray off the path so it was a quick 20 minute walk through the entire thing. I was considering walking through it again but I told myself there's nothing to look at, it'll be better to walk through town and look at the lights. They had snacks and complementary hot chocolate, wine, or cold cider at the pavilion (and the cups were only filled, literally, 1/3 of the way up). Can I get my time (and money) back lol

My family and I went out on one of their boats over the 2019 summer. It was an amazing experience for everyone! My kids loved all the toys they offered. Captain was great and knew exactly where to go for what we wanted to do. First mate was very nice and helpful especially with our kids so we did not have to worry. I took the 31' Regal from Hamptons Boat Rental for my bachelorette party. It had exactly everything we needed and was big enough to accommodate me and 9 of my crazy girlfriends.
