It's not the cheapest but you pay for a better quality of service all round. They are the middle-man on your side: they battle on your behalf with BT Openreach to keep you online, and with HM Government's ministers to keep the Internet free and functional. Before AAISP I was with Eclipse, then Plusnet, then Be Unlimited (now Sky.) By way of example, say you want to buy a table. Be/Sky is a bit like Argos. You'll get something with four legs that holds your beer level and 28 inches above the floor and it'll be just fine. It probably won't fall apart but they ban some types of beer and will complain at you if you drink too much. Some ISPs are a bit more techy. It's like going to Ikea. You have some satisfaction in being able to put the table together yourself. It's kind of configurable and once you've bought it they leave you alone. AAISP is like going to B&Q. They sell some flat pack tables that are solid and will last but more importantly they'll sell you tools, screws and timber and help you build your own. You make the furniture you want with the professional support of a company that knows everything about the trade. The Internet connection (on DSL and on the phone) is completely unfiltered. If that wasn't enough AAISP and Adrian Kennard, their Managing Director, are also politically active trying to ensure it will remain unfiltered. They separate your technical accounts from your billing accounts which is incredibly useful if you manage multiple sites, though it's also a overly complex if you are just a single household with a single broadband connection. The telephony services are amazing -- I have multiple custom public and private numbers that route to VOIP accounts connected to a pair of handsets (a smartphone and a much cheaper disposable handset) and software telephones. I have call blocking, outgoing caller ID adjustments, and secure IMAP based voicemail and call logging. Phone logs are, of course, available online as well as in machine readable XML. My bills from AAISP are quite complicated. Going back to the DIY analogy: instead of a receipt saying "1 table" I have a long list that shows every plank, screw and hammer because I pay for a box of bits that together handle my home internet connection and telephony. While there's a downside in that the bills are complicated the upside is I can do things no other ISP lets me do! A monthly bill typically lists the following: * Internet connection at 1 site: * Physical layer: a PSTN copper phone line * Data layer: the FTTC connection * Network layer: the "Home::1" product * Charge for increased speed to 80/20Mbps * Charge for quota increase to 200GB/mo * Broadband router (free, but listed for accounting purposes) * Telephony: * 3x phone number registrations + VOIP accounts * 8x inactive phone number reservations * 3x SIM cards * Voice and SMS traffic on the SIM cards * Voice traffic on the VOIP accounts * Other accounts: * Domain registration and DNS service * IMAP account * Charge for increased IMAP quota In summary: I am incredibly satisfied with AAISP and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone who embraces technology.

Very happy with these guys!…read more This company provides a VPN service (Virtual Private Network) to hide your IP and your personal information while on the internet. I'd rather not have my info out floating around to who knows where so I signed up on a trial, and now use them for every internet connected computer in my company. I've had a few small issues with their service, as any VPN will have - it's the nature of the beast, especially here in Los Angeles, CA. one of the most "connected" cities in the world, but all have been dealt with fast and efficient. Their service is A+ bar none! I had a little issue with Outlook Express not being able to send or receive emails from my home computer - my ISP isn't very happy that I'm using a VPN, but it was worked out in a matter of a few emails. My email was responded to right away, with an answer to my question, not just the standard run around, I tried what they said might work and wha-la! I was up and running. And I received another email the next day just making sure that everything was still running A.O.K. and that I was happy and had no other issues. Now that's what customer service is! Thank you SO much! Here in Los Angeles we are very used to dealing with morons that have no idea what they are doing, just give you the run around until you give up, but of course charge you lots of money for their service. Is it really different in the U.K.? If so, I'm packing my bags! Between that and I have a big soft spot for British women with a posh accent... oh, my life could finally be complete! :) But "Hide My Ass", www.hidemyass.com is the best as far as I'm concerned. And their service is bar none - great people to work with! Thanks again! Michael G.

You can skip the first half of this web hosting review if you want to know how enthusiastic I am…read moreabout my current web hosting provider Linux Hosts Ltd. Let me start by saying that my review is 100% real, unbiased and objective. It's rather long so I hope you are willing and able to take some time. Maybe five minutes? I can prove that I'm a real customer of Linux Hosts Ltd. if Yelp would give me the possibility to add a screen shot of my web hosting account while being logged in, but I don't see any button that allows me to add a screen shot to this review. I have been a customer of Linux Hosts Inc. for several years. But first I would like to talk about my bad experiences with others. I started with my own domain name in 2003. It was NOT hosted by Linux Hosts Ltd. but by one of the world's largest web hosting providers. As a starter I didn't know much about web design, web hosting, programming and related skills. So I regularly contacted technical support about problems, some of them created by myself, some of them due to a problem caused by the provider. The support team was absolutely unable to assist me professionally and I often received irrelevant and unprofessional replies to my support tickets. Later I heard that the company outsourced its technical support to some low salary country. After I left the web hosting provider one year later, I had several other similar experiences with two other large web hosting companies. All of these companies rank high in Google and have a huge advertising budget. So they are easy to find which isn't good. I also discovered that they practice overselling. This means that they sell more web hosting packages than they actually have. It refers to the method of offering more bandwidth and web space than they have in order to attract as many new clients as possible, while assuming that most of these new customers will not use their maximum allocated web space and bandwidth. I think it was three years ago that I switched to Linux Hosts Ltd. The company belongs to its parent company LiquidNet Ltd headquartered in London UK. They own data centres in the UK, Australia, US and Sweden. The moment I switched to them all my problems were gone. I was in a completely different web hosting world. My new account was activated instantly after payment. Support always replies promptly to my support tickets and, if ever there is an issue, it's mostly resolved within minutes by very well trained, friendly, hardworking and knowledgeable people. The company has developed its own Control Panel which is easier to use than CPanel and it offers more options. There is nothing a customer can't do from within the Control Panel and most actions require nothing more than the click of a button. Up time is almost 100 percent and my sites load lightning fast in all browsers. In the beginning I never made backups of my sites. Twice I lost all my files and twice I was saved by this company because they make daily backups. A short time ago I discovered that, despite the fact that I have a cheap 4.19 per month shared business package, there are only 25 other account holders hosting their websites on the same web server as mine. This really was a pleasant surprise to me because I know that most providers put as many websites as they can on only one web server in order to save cost. Sometimes there are thousand of customers using the same server which decreases speed and increases the risk of being infected by a virus. Last but not least I also learned that my web hosting provider is very secure. At least once a month I receive their newsletter informing me that they added new security measures or upgraded existing implementations. My account, including 4 websites and blogs, was never compromised and probably never will. I can full heartedly recommend Linux Hosts Ltd. to any individual and business in need of a reliable web hosting provider.

IT'S TRAVEL SEASON, BAYBEE!…read more I've been using Travel WIFI for many of my recent trips last year. I honestly have never had a problem with this company as they are so responsive, wonderful customer service and the device is very reliable! Let me admit that using their device truly helps from getting billed a huge amount for roaming charges from a mobile carrier. I've used travel WIFI for over 3+ of my trips out of the country and the process to sign up has been very easy. I have used them to go to Mexico, Canada, Asia, Italy, and Trinidad. I usually go to their website here: https://travelwifi.com/ and enter the country that I will be visiting. I go for the basic purchase and three days before my trip, I receive a UPS package with my device. On top of that, I even get a free return package to send the device back. During my stay, I get continued emails checking in to see if I am enjoying the device and asking if I have a question. A few days before the device is supposed to be returned, I received an email informed me that I could keep the de4vice if I wanted to for a fee. Not really needed in my situation, but nice that they give this as an option. The prices are very reasonable and not too much. The device charges in about 2 hours and last on a good charge for over 10 hours. I also like that multiple devices can use the WIFI box simultaneously. I can agree with some of the Yelpers about the spotty service although the device says there is the internet, there were times where it wasn't working. But honestly, it was not the fault of the device so I can't blame it on the company. There are times where it will take long periods of time searching for a signal, maybe it was the location of the places that made it spotty. In all honesty, it's a WIFI box, don't have high expectations to get service 100% of the time. If you lower your standards, I promise you won't be disappointed. I will continue to use this company to order a WIFI box when I am going to visit any country. **Make sure they give you the new devices; the old devices don't work and the chargers don't work for the device. **

Don't rent from them, not 4G as they advertised, only work 4 days out of 7 days rental…read more Customer service is really bad too, went to the airport location to pick up, no record of my order, the girl put together one for me from a pile of customer drop off, only work that night. When I found out there is no signal the next day, the helpline takes forever to answer, told me they will send me a replacement 2 days later, then cancel it on the day of. The staff were very nice but the equipment is shit.
