Go to bank and receptionist first question..."do you have appointment?" Needed to come back and sign paperwork, once again, tell us you don't need appointment just to sign paperwork. We get there and have to wait nearly an hour while manager waits on customers who had an appointment. We just needed to show ID and sign documents. Yet, PNC kept us waiting for no reason. Boring, yes. Add incompetent as well. Plus, manager then comes out to tell me he has to check first to see if the documents are ready. Need I say more?

I finally had enough and went into the bank on a Friday to close out all of my accounts including my business account. They assured me that all accounts was closed. I also informed all of my bill collectors of my new account information. Lo and behold my insurance company tried to draft out of the old account and it wasn't closed so I was overdrawn. I called and the bank said I had to come in. I drove over furious. When I got there they charged me another $10 for an advancement of funds even though it was their fault for not closing the account. Then they refused to drop the charge. This particular branch never has enough staff and it's always terrible.

They ask if I had account with PNC and when I told them no, they told me it would be a 2% fee to cash the check and offered the check back and I said I would pay the fee. After pulling away from the window we saw where they had charged 5% instead of the 2% I was told. Now granted it wasn't a hugh sum bit it is the principle, the check was from there bank and to charge to cash one of their checks. I have done this with other banks in the area and have never had an issue of being charged because I didn't have an account at that bank. I won't be going back just on pure principle. Just a note. I will admit, they are out of the way for us to get to a branch on a regular basis, but usually we just use the mobile banking app. This particular trip over was to deposit cash. The last time I was there, the ATM wasn't taking cash deposits, so I drove up to the teller. She was quick, and I was on my way back home in a matter of minutes. Another thing I really appreciate about this bank would be its Fraud department. They have always been quick to call and verify weird looking transactions, and have often caught things before I've had a chance to catch them myself.

First thing to note is this is a limited location. It doesn't have tellers, but has bank representatives who can help you in many ways. Mike welcomed us and got started helping us out. There are comfy chairs to wait while things get done in the background. Though we were there for an unusual reason, Mike was super responsive and found a solution. Even though we were not account holders, nor were we looking to open an account at PNC, the level of customer service was top notch. Overall a great and efficient experience!

This is the most unprofessional group of people I have ever met in my life. my husband and I are…read moredealing with settling a family estate and have had to go in 3 different times to try to close the account. The first time we were told over the phone that we could come in that day and close it out without the other estate party. We arrived at 4 and were kept until after closing only to find that we did, in fact, need the other party. The second visit everyone that needed to be there arrived at 4 and again we were kept waiting until closing. We were told that we had to return again the following day because they neglected to close out the $0.31 from savings in order to close the account. Let's hope third time is the charm and we never have to return to this den of ineptorators. Please steer clear of this bank and look into credit unions in your area instead!
