With the car, it's like he turned back time to when it was brand new, and the house looks like it has just been painted instead of just cleaned. His pricing was beyond reasonable (even when you figure in the credit card surcharge) and he shows up when he says he will, complete with automated appointment reminders. All you have to do is be home and let him know if you can provide access to power and water. We will definitely have him back regularly.

Update June 6 2024: Andrew came to the house today and took a look at the earlier work. Later…read moretoday, he sent a crew to complete the work. Service Requested: Power wash of whole house and deck. What was completed: Just the deck and the back of the house. As soon as the person (Andrew) was sent to my house, their online billing system sent me the invoice. I saw the person starting to wash the deck and I thought, since he is here, he will complete the job - my mistake!!! I saw the working was being done, I paid the invoice online - again, my mistake!!! After approx 30 minutes of I making that payment, the person just closed-up whatever he was doing and left!!! As soon as he left, I took photos (attached), sent to the number I had and even after seeing the photos, he claimed that he washed the entire house. Then later, he said he will send someone else to finish the job - which never happened - even after 2 weeks of constant follow-up (My wash was done on May 23 2024 and I am posting this review on June 5 2024) To begin with, getting an appointment itself was a pain. They only have an answering service which takes messages and calls you back whenever (and if at all) they find time. Even for complaints, there is no one in the business whom you can talk to directly - only a 3rd party answering service. So, service performed was extremely limited and only 1/3rd of what was requested. Even after sending photos and following up multiple times, they didn't show up at the house, to even have a look/verify the complaint/issue. Lesson learned: Don't pay until they complete the job and you are satisfied with the results.

She never says how upset she is that she can't make the client happy and that she would like to find a way to do that. My experience with markatos is that they do an okay job cleaning. No complaints there. But they break a lot of stuff in my home. I've used them off and on for years, and their cleaners have broken dozens of things. The last time I used them, they switched on the jacuzzi -- inadvertently, I'm assuming -- and the motor fried. I complained, and after talking to Nicolle, I realized I was on my own. Nobody was going to give me the benefit of the doubt, so I left and hired another cleaner. At least a jacuzzi motor is something that can be replaced. Sentimental items can't, no matter how much insurance Markatos has. As I said, they're pretty good cleaners. They're just not worth the trouble.

I was impressed when Markatos did an initial in-person quote. I had called a few other firms and was shocked to get a huge estimate over the phone based on square footage. My husband and I are the only occupants so the spare rooms and bathrooms are hardly used. Markatos takes that into account and that will definitely save you money. Markatos sticks to a schedule pretty well. For routine service,once assigned a date/time the team never cancels or shifts days. On occasion, hours may shift but it is not a big deal. Great with pets! My dogs are treated exceptionally well and let out of crates while they are there. The dog are put back in the crate afterward. Markatos does a great job removing pet hair....amazing. The office management is exceptionally hardworking and accomodating. If I had to change or cancel a service they are top notch....Jo Ann thanks! Trustworthy .Period. We have never had a problem with things missing or stolen. Often leave them unattended and its never a problem. Recently, I noticed a few items were not cleaned as well as I am used to.
