Reminded me of the service in France at Sacré-Coeur where the children in uniform filled the pews. The nave of the church is ample and majestic. Huge church. The spire and blue green roof led me to the church. I'm glad I found her. The beauty of the stained glass windows all along the church, the roseta above the organ at the front and two big panels at each side of the altar create a visual light sensory experience that enhances the spiritual journey of the service. On this ocasión the organ was not played, but the piano, and a duo of voices led us in song. Very nice. Another jewel of a church. I will come back.

They have parking for over 80 cars in two different sections.They have all kinds of activities for the neighborhood. I recently started coming here but I absolutely love it! The church staff are all super nice & attentive, not to mention is a huge church! Fits over 300 people! I will definitely continue coming here. The renewal of marriage vows for a couple celebrating their 50th Anniversary. The anniversary of my Grandma passing. The B-Day of a dear friend in heaven. And as soon as Mass ended, two baptisms! The community and clergy are very welcoming to newcomers. The church although small has the grandeur of a much larger church. Marble and gold guilded.

This is a really lovely church…read more When I was a child, I sometimes attended mass here with my grandparents and cousins. It's a friendly church. I came here recently for my cousin's wedding and the rehearsal. It was an gorgeous service. There's a huge organ in the back of the church that's amazing. There's pretty stained glass windows too. I haven't been to a traditional service here in many years, but it's a very nice neighborhood church that has a lot of charm, and it's quite big and pretty too.

During the sermon, several individuals engaged in behavior that was distracting and inappropriate for a time of worship and reflection. One white woman spent much of the sermon rubbing her husband's back and neck , while another young gay male couple was embracing throughout the message. Church services should be a place where the congregation can focus on prayer, scripture, and the pastor's teachings. Excessive displays of affection, regardless of who is involved, can divert attention from the purpose of the service and create a distraction for those trying to worship. I believe all attendees should be mindful of maintaining a respectful atmosphere that allows everyone to concentrate on the spiritual message being shared. Probably those individuals will not be returning to this church that have been going for over 10 years, so sad. Satan even attends church too.

But then so does your mother. Flushing is not really synonymous with Cathedrals, although I have noticed that a lot of Asian people on the streets of flushing are handing out booklets for Christ and whatnot. Very interesting. Anyway - this is a beautiful cathedral in the heart of Flushing. It gives the area some character and it's a weird addition to the bustle of what reminds many of East Asia, because you won't see too many buildings like this in Asia, especially not for this particular religion, so it's quite the juxtaposition. East meets West. Or when it's raining and you're hungry for BBQ cart sticks, Eats meats wets.

Valerie and the ministerial staff are prayer warriors who love the Lord and love their members. On February 25, 2024 , the churches 258th Anniversary, Pastor Cousin and staff honored all of the "Living Legends" ( who are 80yrs old and more) -- there were approx. 65 Living Legends of whom received pins with love and adoration from Pastor Cousin.
