There are a mix of people there who come to worship in one kindred Spirit. I am caucasian and my friend is chinese. My Dad was with me too as we were in the area to attend a wedding the following day. We were greeted at the door and by a friendly couple who set in front of us who were from the New Hampshire area not too far from where one of my daughter's live in New Hampshire. The church service starts with am awesome worship team who seem to have hearts to magnify the name of Jesus. I was so encouraged to sing as the words are up on the large screen up front and all seem to be singing to the Lord. We were greeted by others also as there were opportunity during the service. Pastor Gary Domiano was Pastoring during this time as we were attending the english service. We were given an overview of what he was preaching on and continued in the Book of Jonah. Such a fresh new prospective. I would certainly recommend attending this Bible preaching , thought provoking church of wondering people. There was a fellowship following the service which I am sorry to say I didn't have opportunity to stay . I am hoping next time I will certainly be there. Our father who married us was one of a kind. All of our guests were mesmorized by the beauty of the church and our photos came out beautiful during our wedding ceremony. Too many…read more That is 2 St. Michael's too many, which lead to a bunch of people (including myself) confused, late, and lost for a church related event in Flushing. Actually, it's very possible they're just simply the same church but in different buildings along the block (like a campus) but that doesn't make it any easier for outsiders like myself. The basement of the Barclay St. Michael's church is massive. There was a stage and at least enough room for 500 people or more. This was like a school gymnasium with a stage and clean bathrooms. Though impressive and spacious, the fluorescent lights were a bad combo with white walls and floors, causing the place to feel like a hospital more than an auditorium. I still haven't attended mass here. It's a small walk away from Main Street in Flushing, I imagine I'll be here again at some point in the future. ---------------- #1: Actual answer: 3. It is a large and beautiful church with many doors, which can cause some confusion to newcomers. The priest's rectory and a small convent are also nearby. Masses are in English, but also Spanish, and Chinese; some with music and choirs leading those attending the services. I believe, I think, that periodic masses are also in Tagalog. The church is heated in the winter, of course, and summer masses are often held in the basement auditorium which is air conditioned. The main church is accessible through a side door on Union St., but not to the lower level.

First, some of the Spanish and others don't have a card and they went in to get food. And when I ask them they are like it's not their problem! This is so funny. They are the one who ask for card and they say is not their problem when they let someone in when they don't have a card! And we Asian people waited hours very patiently. And they just laugh at us after I say they are discriminating us. Don't go to this church anymore. They are not real Christian. They are pretending to be. Real Christian don't do things like that! I will forgive them, I am a real Christian and I hope they will really change. if you are Asian change some where that people respect you! We don't need to be like a beggar asking someone for food that who will treat us like a real beggar!

My brother, cousin, and I would play on the steps at age 7-8-10, and run home to my grandmothers for something to eat. In the early 50's the neighborhood was a safe playground protected by Italian men who lived in the neighborhood. An ideal place to have spent my early days as a kid.. If visiting over the weekend, we would walk on Sundays to attend mass, then home for breakfast. Perhaps, someday, I could return for another Sunday Mass.
