While I was able to get the bike started, I wanted to replace the battery as there were other indicators that the battery might be going. I called Treadway, which was the closest Honda Dealer, to see if they had one in stock and if so, if they would be able to replace it while I waited. When I called, it was a Friday evening about 10 minuted before they closed. I was told that they had it in stock and would be able to get it into service first thing Saturday morning. When we arrived, just after they opened, the battery was waiting on the counter. The bike was promptly brought back into service, the battery changed, the corrosion cleaned off the positive terminal (which may have ultimately been the cause) and some batter terminal grease applied. This was all done at a fair and reasonable price. Treadway turned what could have impacted our trip home into just a minor inconvenience.

Just recently we had our Black Ford Flex there for service the problem was a fairly simple fix, but someone could have told us that it was a major fix an charged us a bunch of money. I took my truck to a shop that does great work but does not build trans, sadly this is the shop…read morethey do a great bit of work with and the end result is that because they said they were good we went with them. they built a trans for my 2500 with a bullet converter, Buncha high end parts, super nice trans that you could tow with no issues. I have had the trans in the truck for a little under a year and a half for the last 4 moth is has has small little intermittent issues so sparse that they would be hard to diagnose. currently with right around 30k miles on the trans in a 2500 heavy duty truck that has spent the last year and a half being a work truck hauling fridges microwaves small amounts of timber and an occasional motorcycle in the bed. the trans is bad. there's a issues in the main body somewhere, as well as the super expensive billet tq converter they put in it also took a shit. the truck is a bone stock and might make 250tq. it can't spin the tires if you hold a gun to its head, it's never done a burn out and pulled one aluminum uhaul car trailer with my Lexus on it for a whopping 50 miles. do yourself a favor and save yourself thousands go to a different shop. they don't stand behind their work, and refuse to be accountable for their poor quality work if you want your transmission to shit itself and leave you stranded after a year of driving it take it to this shop they will get you dialed with a transmission that will make your car or truck a unreliable time bomb
