At check-in they failed to look at the notes until he saw them later. The room was away from the hotel down the street and only had street parking on the main strip which was not a problem at all. We did not mind walking to and from our room as we always walk the dogs at 7am and then before we leave anywhere. The bathroom was large with a long hallway and tile so we kept the dogs inside this room with their beds and water only. They slept while we were away at dinner, daily. We were there for 2 nights only and we left them unattended for only 4 hrs total and walked them before bed time. At check-out, they tried to charge us an extra 200€ for damages. We had already paid 100€ as a fee. The maid said that they shat all over the beds, the bedroom floors, etc.. The maid was not conveniently there to ask of her but her other manager conveyed the message. We told them that our dogs do not release in the rooms, and it was not at all possible because they were in the bathroom. They looked away and the other manager looked at the manager that relayed the complaint and she just left the room. She clearly lied and was trying to get more money from the Americans. Her manager came and we asked them to walk with us to the room to show them and let them smell it. They left a vacuum in our room and we even cleaned up any hair left behind. He refused to go to the room. He refunded us the charges and apologized. We asked if there was another dog in that area and they said yes. They mentioned only one dog did it. I said we had Two dogs so they clearly confused us with the other guest with a dog. It was an ok experience up until the very end. Due to that experience, we will never stay here again. We have never had any issues with our dogs. I do not recommend this place for that reason.

Most of the recommendations said I should try the roasted pork shoulder (oberpfälzer schäuferl), so I did. Comes with a huge piece of pork shoulder and potato dumpling (knödel) in a dark gravy. That dish, paired with a Sperber-Bräu beer made for food coma time.

We found this with a quick little Google search and it was very close to our hotel. We got right in and had a great waiter named Martin. The service was great. The food was very good. The first day I got the chicken Cordon Bleu and it was delicious. The second night I got a pork roast dish with a mushroom gravy and cheese spaetzle. My mom, the first night had pumpkin soup and the second night also had the goulash. We enjoyed our meals very much and would recommend. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great as well. It felt authentic, and the servers also wore authentic German outfits as well so that was fun.

I had already done the touristy thing at the historic Brathouse on the Danube river here but that reminded me more of Nuremberg sausages, the small ones. These were full size, and seem to be more indicative of the Regensburg sausage. They have four taps with local homemade beer. Service was fine and the waitress spoke English. I would definitely come back. Also, I posted the sign with the Bavarian breakfast. White wurst and a beer! Not a bad deal.
