It was 3pm-ish on a mostly cloudy Saturday afternoon so I opted to sit at the bar and chat a little with the staff. Having a pretty slow day, they explained the building was fairly newly renovated and they were trying to drum up more business by promoting it as an after hours destination for happy hour. The building recently started hiring DJ's for evening sets to give it a bit of a lounge feel, and they were trying to set up other events as well. While I liked the relative emptiness of the space, I hope more people can come support the vendors in this location! A plus in these covid-times is that there is plenty of air circulation given how all the walkways along the sides of the building are open directly to the outside.
