The host responded quickly to our questions and concerns. The expensive waterfront property is beautiful and well furnished. Our bed in particular was so comfy and we loved how the adjoining bathroom connected to the pool deck. The pool was excellent. Clean, warm, and an ideal size and depth. Adequate lounge chairs lined the pool along with a comfy large hammock and two tables. The umbrellas were broken (from before we arrived) so we usually sat under the tiki hut. The house had adequate bathrooms, bedrooms, and sitting areas for our family. Dogs are allowed for extra fees. The house conveniently has two refrigerators and adequate amenities. It just needs some more kitchen and pool towels. A binder is provided that includes adequate information and recommendations. The main issue was the lawn. The Florida keys already has a major bug issue without overgrown lawns making it worse. We could barely sit outside without getting bit, especially later afternoon. Ants were across the kitchen counter when we arrived. Eventually they did mow the lawn and spray for ants and mosquitos. This significantly reduced the pest problem. Don't forget the bug spray! The dryer also didn't work. They sent a maintenance worker over to confirm our report that it didn't work and that was it. The air conditioning is uneven so half the house is too cold while the other side is too hot. The left side of the house, where the kids rooms are is the colder side. The right side of the room stays pretty hot and thankfully these rooms have ceiling fans.

We had 13 and the 13th person was less than 2 yrs old and would be sleeping in a pack n play we would have brought. When I reached they said only 12 people allowed due to beds....child wasn't sleeping in bed. Didn't sign their agreement and reached out and said only 12. Cancelled and they held close to $400 of my money. Will never use them in the future and wish I would have read reviews.

The AC didn't work properly, many outlets did not work, rotting and loose boards on the dock, lots of clutter everywhere and old boat and car in the driveway. We could not even use the tiki bar downstairs because it had no running water and it was in awful shape. We mentioned the jacuzzi (which had no water and dirty) and were told it was not advertised for use which is incorrect since it is on the website we were given. There is hardly any lighting downstairs to be able to see anything. The house was not very clean and no cleaning products were left for us to at least be able to clean a little bit. It seems they want to collect money without putting anything into the house. The only thing that was updated and was enjoyable was the pool because it was recently added. This could be a great house if they just take a little bit of time in upgrading and making sure things are in proper working order. This is the first time we rent from Conch Realty and will be the last!

Instead of refunding me, Homestead and Air B&B kept 100% of my $327 and said it was our fault because we didn't abide by their 24 hour cancelation notice policy.

There was a group of people that were loud and obnoxious. They seem to come to these condos every year and we're playing loud music and talking so loudly I could not hear myself think. This would be a great place if you are wanting to socialize and are a social butterfly. For someone that is coming out of working 80 hour weeks and wants to relax and enjoy a clam vacation these rentals may not be the place.
