My father handed the office lady (she was much more patient though she seemed unsurprised by his attitude) the phone, and unaware it was on speaker, he remarked "He's not coming back, tell him to leave." and belittled him by inferring he was playing "games" with the office when it was a simple misunderstanding. This to a man trying to make a smart financial choice amid crisis? The sheer callousness--prioritizing fees over people--was revolting.
