Every year for the next 3 years the mobile service came and replaced the fuel pump telling me it went bad because of bad gas. Finally the 4th year I replaced the fuel pump myself. When I went to Hance & Smythe to get oil I explained that the fuel pump had to be replaced the past 4 years. They said that makes no sense, they asked me a bunch of questions. And figured out that the fuel separator I installed was causing the problem. I removed the fuel separator and (knock on wood) haven't had an issue for the past 3 years. Thanks Hance & Smythe.

They were easy to deal with during the sales and delivery process, but they really shined post-sale. Like any complex machine, there were a few issues. The issues were relatively minor (the boat is amazing), but the staff at Statewide is top notch. You can speak with an experienced person who will actually be the person working on your boat. I am a persistent, analytical guy, so that's very important to me. They explain what they intend to do very carefully, and deliver what they promise and more. I inquired about overnight visitors and the cost at the time of signing the contract. When I went in to the office Saturday morning, I was told there was 1 slip anvailable "C17" for my friend's boat. I was very clear it was a center consel 34ft Scout twin engines. When he got there he asked where to go and fill out the necessary paperwork. The dock manager"Mike" started screaming at him to leave it was a private marina and there was no dock spaces available for a boat that size. He told my friend no one inquired that morning about any space. That was a lie. The office manager told me that the boat was bigger than I said! No it was 34ft. Just like I said.
