So I called aire serve and had a technician come out and he told me my capacitor was bad again. But this time he said it won't be warranty due to "lack of maintenance". i told him i am a tradesman myself so i do my own maintenance and asked why would that void the warranty. He stated because it was dirty behind the back panel. Ok but the other 3 panels in his pictures look clean. So since 1 side of the a/c unit is dirty the warranty is voided? Than he told me he can warranty it only if I buy there cleaning service for $272 buy if I didnt want the cleaning it would be $315 to fix the capacitor.That is absolutely ridiculous and is extortion at its finest. You mean if I dont buy your cleaning service you will not warranty it but if I buy your cleaning service its under warranty. so its technically under warranty than right? They said no and to pretty much give me no option. I tryed to contact someone but the lady that answers the phone knew nothing and was no real help once theres a problem. I asked to speak to a manager/boss and no one knew where he was or when he will be back. I asked for a call back and never recieved one. I gave them time for them to call and try to make this right but insted i was ignored. Once you have a problem seems like they dont want to resolve it.Sad to see this company has gone downhill and pray on people without a/c knowing you will but whatever they tell you. We felt confident in Aire Serv. After the install the the guys made sure we knew all about our product. We purchased the Amana furnace and ac unit. Fantastic product and service! Very happy!

Protect your loved ones by warning them, reporting these unethical practices, and finding a reputable alternative. Don't become another victim of their deceitful tactics and outright scams. Here's just one example: We were charged a hefty fee for absolutely no work. Their truck couldn't navigate our driveway on a snowy day, and instead of rescheduling, they went ahead and billed us anyway. When we called to dispute the charge, we were met with pure arrogance--told that we "don't understand how their business works" and that we were required to pay, no matter what. They demanded an outrageous amount for literally nothing. It felt like a joke--except it wasn't. This company is clearly taking advantage of the elderly without remorse. We are reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, and we encourage others to do the same. Do they honestly think they can just skip the work and still charge seniors? Absolutely disgusting.

He was able to come the same day to fix the vent. From beginning to end they were very professional, personable, neat and efficient. Art showed me the blanket of lint inside my dryer and the poor dead bird that apparently had gotten stuck in the duct. I was using my home warranty program, so JL Mechanical was assigned to me as their vendor. I had a new furnace installed and JL Mechanical kept me updated with the date of service plus text messages to remind me and give me a link to track my installation team members. They also email you a snapshot of those who will be doing the installation work. Robert was my guy and he was intelligent, patient, friendly, and answered all my questions. In fact, I've had repairs and installations done in my house before but the entire work area and my house was completely CLEANED UP when they were done.
