Absolutely the worst company we have ever used. We have been dealing with incompetence, lies, poor quality, terrible communication and terribly frustrating lack of professionalism. This has been going on over one year now. They cannot and do not complete the warranty work, they have scheduled and not shown up numerous times and are generally awful. We built a large building and they promised us a top notch crew. We got someone who installed french doors backwards and they leaked for months. They could not figure out what was causing it to leak. We had to remove the concrete porch to get the door out. We have hired two other contractors to fix their numerous screw ups. They destroyed the door, voided the warranty and damaged the door handle and damaged an expensive metal window. DO NOT USE THEM. read more

I've had my Tuff Shed for about a month. I was so excited that I could finally clear out my garage. I had an issue with the appearance of it after it was built. I brought it to the attention of some Tuff Shed employees at Home Depot. Within 30 minutes the General Manager, Scott Valdez, was at my home. He promised that they would fix it. Yesterday, they did. It looks wonderful. I've already been using my shed. I opted for the windows on each side which makes it more comfortable in there in this heat. I totally recommend a Tuff Shed for anyone looking to clean out their garage ;-) I didn't tell Scott that I am the neighborhood HOA President, but I'll be letting everyone in the neighborhood know about the great shed and even better customer service. read more

We were on site for about 90 minutes today. Never greeted, never acknowledged. We were ready to order a large shed, just needed to work out some details. We finally left and took our money with us. I designed a Tuff Shed using the 'build your own shed' software on the Tuff Shed web site... great software that allows you to build, add options, change size, color, etc. and provides you with a price as you are building. Once all was said and done, the negotiated price was $3100.00 that you must pay up-front before they will schedule the build. In addition, land must be level or they charge extra to level. I spent two days bringing in dirt & sand and leveling the entire area where the shed was to be built. On 29 July 2019, 3 guys came by and built the shed in approximately 6 hours in my backyard. However, there are several things I would like to mention after they completed building the shed. First, they don't inform you that the shed is built on cement blocks with some wood shimming for leveling - the problem is, the cement blocks are used sparingly so it looks like an incomplete product. If the blocks were used around the entire perimeter, it would look better and more complete. Besides, I spent two days leveling the ground thinking the shed would be placed on the ground. The blocks were not be needed. The General Manager indicated they have a cement-type skirt that can be placed around the bottom of the shed to hide the cement blocks. The web site does not offer this option. However, they came out an installed the skirt 3 weeks later. Second, there are gaps between the roof and the walls (allowing daylight in - which means bugs can also enter). The Tuff Shed general manager came out and explained it away as 'that happens' - if I'm building a $3,000 shed, I would make sure the roof and walls come together to prevent daylight from coming in. In the end, I had to purchase spray foam to seal the gaps inside the shed. The shed components, pre-built and painted at the warehouse, were the wrong color and had to be painted on location. As a result, the painter spilled paint on my lawn in the front yard and backyard along with paint on the metal base where they built the shed. Very sloppy. There are some great qualities with regards to the shed itself... but, it's the little things that companies do that exceed customer expectations. My expectations were not exceeded. Fact is, if I had known they were going to build me a shed with cement blocks underneath, I would have looked at other shed options before paying $3,000 for this one. read more

Had heard about Tuff Shed when starting some research into an outdoor building for the backyard. Had been meaning to get out to the physical store to ask some questions and put eyes on things. They had a store at the home and garden show in OKC which was great to pop in and have a look at their product. Admittedly, I'm a question asker and in general want to know a lot before I invest. Spoke with Kenny at the show who was incredibly patient with all my questions about window vs no window-what makes the price go up (by how much), how to reduce the price. A door centered on a wall vs in the corner, how that affects usability, etc. He just kept answering my questions. I had a slab already on the property, and I wanted to know if we could use my slab to cut costs on them putting in a floor. He came out the next day to look at the existing concrete slab to determine that it would work. Super quick to respond and answer questions, even Stephanie who handles scheduling things was very prompt at getting all things taken care of. The crew that came out to install the building were friendly and upfront about some tweaking that was needed to install the ramps. Things come up, that's just part of it-but there are a number of ways that people can handle those issues. I personally really liked that they told me what the issue was and how it needed to be handled, and that someone would have to come out in the coming days bc they didn't have the correct bits or tools to handle on site. This was scheduled right after the weekend and I was taken care of the following week. We shall see how everything holds up with the Oklahoma weather, but so far I'm quite pleased with the salesman Kenny, scheduler Stephanie, the construction crew, and Hunter the service tech who came out to help with the ramps-not to mention a great space for getting some tools out of the garage! read more

Ordered a Tuff Shed through Home Depot almost three weeks ago. Getting Tuff Shed to respond to phone calls and e-mails in order to finalize an installation date is some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. I've tried 3 individuals to acquire answers from. Nothing! I'm not sure of the build quality so I can't rate that, but I can rate the customer service as some of the worst. Mike read more

I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Tuff Shed. From the first phone call up to the builder finishing the job and handing over the keys has been a rare experience. If you are in need of a shed, look no further. The quality of service and the craftsmanship of the building is excellent. They matched out colors to our home and drew out a design schematic so that we could submit the request to our HOA. Keith, OKC sales manager, gave us one of the best customer services experiences I can remember. We received a fair deal and the building was set to be assembled within the week. The man that came to build it showed up on time and took him the 4 hours he quoted us to finish his work. He cleaned up the trash and walked me through how to lock and unlock the double doors. We ordered a custom shed in March. It was scheduled for June delivery. Install came and went, I couldn't get ahold of anyone. When I finally reached my salesman, he said it was built incorrectly and would need to be redone. Another install date came and went. Finally, I got a call saying someone was on the way with the shed. This was unscheduled. When they started building I realized it was built incorrectly again. They left the shed pieces scattered around my yard. This was one week ago. I've called about ten times asking for them to come pick up this wrong shed and to refund my deposit. I can't get any answers. The shed is still scattered around my yard and no one will tell me if/when they will pick it up or when we will get refunded. Worst experience I've ever had with a business. Unprofessional at all levels. read more

I experienced less than optimal customer service from Tuff Shed. Cancelled on me twice. After the second cancellation I went to Tuff Shed to talk about the problem or try to help get the shed built at my home. The manager(s) were in a back room and did not come out to talk. I talked to an employee who had no dealings with me or the cancellations. After realizing that leadership at Tuff Shed does not care about me or my business I decided to get a refund. I would call for updates and get no answer. I would get text messages as replies from voicemails. Not a good experience. read more

We have nothing but good words to say about Tuff Shed on Reno Street in Oklahoma City. From the first moment of walking into their office and meeting Keith to the final completion of our storage building by Marco and his bother, it was a sheer pleasure. Keith explained everything there was about a Tuff Shed building answering every one of our questions. He took us into the yard to show us the various building where we found the one we wanted. Then he really came through for us. He explained how the building was constructed from leveling the steel I-beams for the foundation, the special flooring, the walls and ect,, He was not pushy, but he was with us the entire time and shared many ideas with us so we could make the backyard storage building fit our every need. Salesman was great, he showed me all the different configurations and options. I wanted a window on the north side of the building, I wanted a transom window above the door, I wanted the door hinges on the right side. However, the shed I requested was not what the prefab builders built. An independent installer showed up and installed the shed, and after an hour or so he came to me with the first of many issues. The window was on the south wall, the transom window wasn't installed, the door was hinged on the wrong side, they didn't have enough vent covers, there wasn't enough trim, and shed just looked bad! I called the salesman and he forwarded my concerns to the sales manager and general manager. The GM called and sounded put out that I didn't like the way the shed was built. I suggested he or his production manager come out and look the shed the way it was built. Nope, he just sent out another guy to fix what his prefabbers had screwed up. He did a great job fixing the problems. I would not recommend this company! read more

The shed itself is very durable and we are happy with our custom build. The issue with Tuff Shed is the sales people and customer service. We had some minor issues with the construction of our shed, which was eventually resolved. However, trying to receive information and/or scheduling and rescheduling our appointments was ridiculous. The customer service lady, Victoria, needs some training. She's not friendly and does not return calls even when you leave multiple messages. read more
