Back in April I was browsing flooring companies for carpet to be replaced in master bedroom. I wasn't too impressed with the two stores I had been to prior to Big Bob's. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Eddie, very helpful, took the time to understand what the current project was, when I needed the install completed, my ideal budget. After selecting the carpet I wanted, next was the carpet padding. Instead of trying to upsell the most expensive padding like pervious experience; he was knowledgeable with padding, longevity, pros and cons; which made it easier to decide what type I wanted. Arnold installed our carpet, he arrived on time, did a great job. I returned to the store on 8/9 to purchase carpet for our other rooms, Eddie recognized me immediately, familiar with my next project. Paid/scheduled the install. Today 8/13 carpet was installed, Arnold and his crew arrived on time, happy with the install. I did have questions about the current carpet being installed, when I called the store Eddie was not available; Wes answered my questions, very thorough. We have 2 more rooms that need to have carpet replaced once they are painted/textured. Eddie called me to get the measurements of the rooms which I thought was awesome, one less thing to worry. Great service from start to finish! Went up there to see about getting wood floors installed in our house. Met with Eddie who was very knowledgeable about the product we wanted. Once we decided on the product Jose came out and took the measurements of the floor. After that we set a date. Jose and his team came out and in one day were able to rip the carpet up and replace it with wood flooring. We are very pleased with the finished product. In Nov. 2018 my husband and I bought about 1500 sq feet of mid-grade carpet at Big Bob's Flooring to recarpet a house we completely remodeled. Our contractor used Big Bob's all the time and usually bought the lowest quality, however, we decided to upgrade. We live out of town from where the house is located so we purchased the carpet 10 days before Thanksgiving, but didn't have our contractor pick it up until a week after Thanksgiving. However, when the contractor picked it up, he said Big Bob's gave him the lowest quality carpet, EVEN THOUGH WE PAID FOR THE HIGHER QUALITY. Do NOT use them, or do NOT be taken advantage of by Big Bob's. read more

I spent just under 7k, to have my whole home get vinyl flooring put in. Or so I thought that is what I paid for, but they didn't touch 2 of the bedrooms closets! Nope, left the carpet! In the living room they left one plank approximately 1/2 inch from the freaking wall! My laundry room is a mess... and kitchen, then to add insult to injury they three away their puddy and debris under a bush in my front yard! Who does that ?? I saved for a few years to get new floors... I worked my Ass off to get something nice, and all I got was a bif F- You... I absolutely do NOT recommend this place! read more

I just looked online to find the telephone number of our go to floor co and saw the 3 star review so I figured I'd help out. My husband and I flip houses and we ALWAYS end up at big bobs for our flooring. They know us by name when we go in even though we only see them a couple times a year. They always have excellent pricing. We install our own stuff but once we found ourselves with a big problem with our install. (our fault) We called asking advice and they recommended Ken. He came out and pulled about 10 pieces of glue down tongue and grove floor from the center of the room are replaced it. You could not even tell. We were SO impressed and relieved he was able to fix it for us. The cost was VERY reasonable. So low in fact that we gave him double what he asked for. We are very happy to recommend big bobs. I have purchased from Big Bob's this past year and Wes was my salesman. As I had recently had a stroke and can no longer do the pushing and pulling of carpet, I looked to the alternative, carpet tile. I contacted Wes and he told me that he had the carpet tile on hand and was available to leave that day. When I got there, Wes did not disappoint. He showed me his warehouse, and my son and I went thru and settled on carpet tile that we laid down in two apartments. Both of my tenants are very pleased with the carpet, the way it feels, looks and cleans up. If I want to do another carpet flooring and I have to go to one of the big box companies, sure I can get it, but I have to wait 2-3 weeks for delivery. Bog Bob's treated us alright and shown us many varieties of plank flooring and we selected one and then it started-Freddie was the installer that put our flooring down and some of it had rough areas (we bought rough flooring) and Freddie could have placed the rougher planks near the walls but...then after he installed the flooring he departed because he "had another job" (I thought we had bought his services) until our flooring project was complete. He didn't want to put the trim around the edges for some odd reason and the next day I had to call him and ask him when he was returning to finish. He said as soon a she could get a break in the 2nd job and he did return to finish the trim. Now it is several months later and of course we got splinters in our feet sometimes when we walk barefoot but... Then one plank came loose or "popped up" and we called for repair since there is a year warranty on labor and we called Mitch the Mgr at the store and he contacted Freddie. Freddie called me and said he'd come out, I said not this week, no hurry as long as you make it out to fix the floor and we hung up. After a week I hadn't heard from Freddie so I called Mitch again and he re-called Freddie who said, "I thought you were going to call me." (Evidently he got in trouble with Mitch) and he did call me and said he'd be out between 1200 and 3:00. It is now near 5:00 PM and no Freddie. The wife called him and he "ran out of glue" and said he'd be over. It seems with this installer we are an afterthought and our job is insignificant. Summary: It is evident Mitch is well-versed in flooring and he assisted us greatly. But if I ever buy any more flooring from Big Bob's, I will decline Freddie the installer, he is not dependable and lacks professionalism in that he will leave a job partially finished to go work on another job. I would have rather paid more and had a professional installer. read more

I own a home in Idaho and the prior home owner had installed some laminate plank flooring that I was struggling to match. Turns out, the flooring had been dropped by the local Idaho distributors, but was still being manufactured in the South. Found it online by luck at Big Bob's in OKC, and was even more fortunate to be connected to Big Bob salesman Wes McGehee. Wes was honest, straight forward, walked me through the change in distributors and potential impact of coming from a different lot, and even helped me save money with the shipping process. Despite my fears, Wes didn't take advantage of the fact that I was calling in from out of state and in desperate need of the flooring to match existing for an upcoming renovation. We recently moved here and wanted to replace some flooring in the house we just purchased, we just happened to see Big Bob's as we were driving down the highway and stopped in. Eddy, our salesman, was extremely helpful in finding what we wanted and showing us all of our options. We felt that he truly had our best interests in mind instead of steering us towards more expensive product. Our installer Hector and his crew were awesome as well, they were always punctual, finished on time, and were very professional. After the installation Eddy and Hector realized we had overpaid by $600 on the installation, a mistake on my part but had they not said anything we would have never known, they immediately called and returned the extra money. The service and integrity on all sides was outstanding, I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for flooring in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas and we WILL be using them again for any future flooring needs! read more
