I used this law firm as a Parenting Time Expeditor service for me and my coparent. Horrible! Guy could not even attempt to be neutral, follow our contract, nor the state statute that governs his appointment. Their monthly invoices also did not show correct billing. I would get an email stating I owed $500 dollars but the actual invoice would show I was only actually billed for $300. read more

She was efficient , thorough and empathic to clearly highly emotional situation, she knows the laws and she and her team were prepared and organized especially the days of trial. I was so relieved to be working with someone I could trust to make sure my kids and I could be safe and have someone on our side of the table working with us for the best outcome of my family. The representative from here would not believe my perspective. When it was different than that of opposing counsel, he simply stated that I was not being honest with him. When questioned on his behavior, he defended the opposing counsel and, rather than address the issue, sent an email extolling his virtues. It was worse than a waste of money and time. read more

My review of Susan Lach and team... They don't deserve even 1 star. Unprofessional, overbills without justification, no integrity, rude and lacking ethics. Unwilling to explain simple billing questions such as... What did u do when you reviewed this document. Which was responded to by a ... We are not authorized to discuss this with you." Really... You billed my account for this, but are not authorized to discuss this. They're retainer is a document they do not stand by, change on the fly without reasoning, and manipulate as they see fit. Post withdrawal and after I accepted their withdrawal and requested my file (and was denied this simple right without excessive complications from their team) from my case they continued to send forward documents to a person involved in the custody evaluation... I told them after receiving their email that they hadn't been representing me at that time and it was false representation... Well wasn't it? All they were was a middle man, never representing me or my interests... Claiming they reviewed documents, however, 4 different occasions they asked me to sign documents which were contradictory to my divorce and agreements Susan made with the opposition. I requested answers as to their internal process and was told that they review documents... Well if they did and knew anything about my cAse they would have noticed At least that one of the documents was for an entire different party. Another (lack of) character testament of Susan was when she touted several times about the opposition..."don't they know who I am?" Who cares who you are when your pride stands in the way of your ability to represent your client. On one occasion, she had asked for us to talk... After 10 minutes past the time, I made the call to her... At the same time she tried calling me and had already been on the line, yet she did not hear me say hello... I overheard her tell her assistant... "God, he is such an idiot, he's calling me while I'm calling him." What a disrespectful woman and a disgrace to the legal community. Susan was 30 minutes late to my mediation... Another red flag and testament to her lack of professionalism. Find an attorney who represents you and heed my advice... Lach and team are not a respectable or professional law representative. read more

I would recommend Susan Lach - and her staff - to absolutely anyone who is going through divorce litigation or mediation. She is experienced, professional, thorough, knowledgable and fair. I felt like I had everything going in my favor when she was representing me, and what was in the best interests of my children. I cannot say enough about her experience, and the fact that in these cases, which are so emotionally charged, she is always the voice of 'sanity' and legal common sense. I would not recommend this law firm. I hired Letty M-S Van Ert as my attorney to handle my divorce. My case was not handled well. Ms Van Ert made numerous mistakes which had a very negative impact on the outcome of my case. Thomas Tuft, senior partner, was aware of the mishandling of my case, but, like Ms. Van Ert, was more interested in covering it up than correcting the errors. It was an impartial person who was involved in the proceedings that revealed it was my own lawyer that was responsible for the errors. It was not until this happened, that Ms Van Ert finally admitted she was responsible and than Mr. Tuft dropped me as a client. The one star rating is being generous. read more
