But if it IS AN IMPORTANT JOB Choosing them is a MAJOR risk because if they have a large screw up they will do EVERYTHING they can to avoid fixing their damages. We hired them to paint the interior walls of our new house, they left white paint splattering in every room on both levels. Our new wood floors are ruined. When the sales rep came back out he "apologized and said its the worst job he has ever seen" but then stopped responding to my messages unless I scream at them and threatened with a lawyer. The floor guys that did our floors agreed it was trash work but said he WAS NOT SURPRISED when I told him who did it. This was all well OVER A YEAR AGO. I have been fighting them every step of the way. All they do is ignore my calls and texts until I threaten legal action and they insist we let them send Stanley Cleaners out REPEATEDLY. As our floor guy said, those that have to tell you they are Christian probably have to because their actions dont. I hate leaving negative reviews. I dont want to get anyone in trouble but we are WELL OVER A YEAR OUT and we have made zero progress. Again, they will be fast and cheap but know that fighting them is not. Use them twice at my disabled brother's house. While the work looks good, the paint quickly peeled, even though I paid for Behr paint, which we've used previously and had worked great. Got them to come back and pay them extra this time because they said they had a product that would prevent it from doing that again. So basically we paid for the job twice and the paint has already peeled shortly afterwards. I would never use them again. read more

Listen to the bad reviews and steer clear from this company, I wish we had. Now we have areas throughout the exterior of our home that didnt get proper coating and we can see the old darker paint coming through, also they used lots of caulking to fill large gaps inside the wood, the caulking didnt cure yet they painted over it. A month later , still has not dried. They over painted our bay windows, the foreman came back, scraped the excess paint off windows but also took paint off the wood leaving bare wood with no protection from rain. Front and back doors either weren't painted properly or they did a lousy job with the prep work before painting. So many small details throughout the job. This is a christian company, they need to stop advertising as such just to get business of other Christians. Ive reached out to them on fb with my complaints and they blocked me!! I used TCB for drywall repair for a few leaks that occurred after the Father's Day storm. EXCELLENT project management and repair! SO, I decided to go ahead and paint the exterior of our home a couple months later with TCB...EXCELLENT project management and repair! Way better quality paint than the original build. 5-year-old home. They took the time to fill EVERY spot on the trim, garage door, soffits, anything wood, any wood loss, seams were filled also, stucco looks fabulous!! I met them at Tulsa home and garden show. I set an appointment for an estimate. Appointment 1: I received a call saying they were at another home show so we had to reschedule. Appointment 2: I received a call f the estimator saying his kids were sick so we needed to reschedule. Appointment 3: No call, no text, no contact just a no show. Similar review to one below- They came and painted the inside of my house leaving overspray and paint everywhere. Splatters on built in blinds, overspray on fixtures, bathroom tile, etc. they also had over 8 gallons of extra paint they tried to charge me for! Also, during the quote and walk through I specifically asked if this would be rolled or sprayed bc I did NOT want it sprayed. The gentleman lied to me and told me that it would be rolled, which it was not. It took two months to get the guy to return to fix all of their overspray. I did not have the trim painted nor the doors and due to overspray they had to paint a lot of my trim and take doors off the hinges to match the color of the trim work. In the end they only showed up to fix their mess bc I withheld payment until they did so. THEN they wanted to charge me for their over calculation of 8 gallons of unused paint. Ha!!! I usually refrain from online reviews because everyone is trying to make a living, but this company is bad enough to warrant a terrible review. The worst service and company I have experienced in my life. One star is too high of a rating. They were the highest of 3 bids, (more than double the cheapest) but assured me that they had the personnel to complete a quick exterior paint job to pass call outs by an appraiser. Seemed like a smart move rather than delaying purchase and paying an extra percent over 30 years of a loan. They had to scrape off the majority of the first attempt at painting since it was peeling off a couple days after their first attempt. This only cost me an extra $600 since they "miss bid" the job. They broke multiple windows and didn't tell me. They also painted my chimney ,which I had worked on last week. The chimney repair guy asked if I let my kids paint the chimney! If you need exterior house painting I'd recommend any other option. I would have rather taken half the money I paid them and lit it on fire. Then booked another company to save me the sanity of having to deal with Tulsa Christian Painting company for weeks. I'm sure you can break your own windows, throw paint in your bushes and paint your doorbell, door handle, and have paint peeling off. Don't short yourself. read more

I would let a building fall down before letting these guys near it. I found 50 defects in the kitchen alone. Over 100 total. Prep work was terrible. They took 14 days to paint an empty 3br single story house. I was told 3, maybe 4 days. I had to kick one of the guys off the job (way too late) for his constant excuses and poor work. I am still fixing and cleaning their mistakes. Waiting for my key and a doorbell they broke. I have never had such a bad experience with a company. DO NOT USE THEM! read more

TCB seems to have a good reputation with plenty of great reviews. Our salesman seemed very confident in the companies ability to execute what we wanted. Unfortunately it went downhill after we signed the contract. The chair rail removal and subsequent drywall repair was very disappointing. After several attempts to correct the work it has still fallen short of our expectations that were set by the salesman and project manager. Even after the crew was sent back for touch ups for the paint, I still am finding myself fixing mistakes that were made 1 month later. Some of our disappointment could have been mitigated with simple communication from our project manger. However, after expressing my concerns to him on several calls throughout the job, there was never any follow up to address what had been done to fix the issues. It took 2 days before I was contacted once the job was "completed". During that time 4 large contractor bags of trash and chair rail were sitting in our front yard. I want to believe it is a good company, and perhaps we were simply assigned a subpar crew and project manager, but unfortunately it has resulted in an overall disappointing experience due to expectations, poor communication and subpar quality. read more

I am not one to usually put a local company on blast but don't want any of you (or anyone for that matter) to get burned as we did. We hired Tulsa Christian Bros. Painting to do some work for us in September 2016. It was a larger project but straightforward - restain our cedar deck and paint the exterior of our house. We picked colors and were pretty vocal that we wanted the cedar to be stained to its original natural look. Painters came and when I got home our deck was RED, and there was overspray all over our gutters and other belongings. We talked with management and we paid nearly double to "make it right." The team power-washed the paint off (aging the year-old deck substantially in the process) and they stained the deck the correct color. They were well aware of overspray needing to be cleaned and that never happened. After the hassle of this two month project, I was just going to leave it after not getting calls back to complete this part. Fast forward to about 6 months later and the stain - which has a two year company warranty- completely came off. I reached out to the company no less than 5-10 times over the course of several months and finally had someone contact me and look at the home. He mentioned there should have never been power-washing and the original paint was not done correctly either. Someone was supposed to be sent out to complete. I have talked to management, filed a BBB complaint, and even threatened litigation to try to get them to actually get this done. My favorite excuse was they needed to wait until there was warm weather...and that was the reason they hadn't done work or called me back in 6+ months. I finally had an appointment scheduled to complete the work last Saturday; no one showed again and this was after talking directly with the manager of the company. Subsequent calls to the company have gone unanswered, too. I'm tired. I paid (double) for the work to be completed. I've waited over a year to get this resolved. They've taken off the ability for review their company online and I have my suspicions of why. They never even responded to the BBB. Please, please, please do not use this company - I wouldn't want this to happen to any of you. read more

My husband and I stopped in at the Tulsa landscape and remodel show this past weekend. We scheduled an appointment with this company and they called and rescheduled on the day that they were supposed to come out. Today was the day that they were supposed to show up, and they did not show. We've tried calling them multiple times, and they keep sending us to voicemail. This is not really how you run a business. You don't just ghost your customers after scheduling an appointment with them. I'm not very impressed and we will not be rescheduling again. read more

Wow is how I would start off my experience. One I was super impressed with Darren our estimator. The painters who came our were super fast, courteous and super professional. We had them paint the whole interior, naturally there were a few real small touchups, but they got them handled with no problem. I've done some painting myself and I can say there is a difference between me doing it and the professional doing geesh.. they came in about 30% less than the other guys and got to it the week after I got the estimate. I don't have enough good things to say. We will have them do our exterior in the summer. read more

Awful customer service. 2nd time I used them and will never again. First time they painted over my nice wallpaper in my entryway. This last time they didn't prep like they told me, just painted over rough spots. They missed spots on hallway ceiling. Then didn't even paint all they were supposed to. I had to call them to get them to pick up trash. Paint on door knobs. Paint on front door from their hands. Took them over 1 month to come back and paint the kitchen ceiling. And still didn't correct the rough spots they made or clean up doorknobs. Never again!!!!! read more

I had this place come out to paint my mom's house. It looks so good. They cleaned it, replaced the wood, caulked the seams and painted it very nice. They were very patient, communicative, friendly and affordable. Their quote came in $1000 bucks less than the other quote. She's thinking of getting the inside done now! Praise Jesus! I do my own painting inside. I like to put it on thick for longer wear, and have always had the notion that because you have to thin the paint a bit to use sprayers, it is not as long lasting. I rolled on as much as I could on the exterior, but I could only go so high as it is two story with unusually steep slopes. I have also heard stories about asking for a certain brand in a certain color, and the painter with have it color matched in a cheaper brand. I came across Christian Brothers Painting at a home show. They will let you buy your own paint and tell you about how much is needed. I liked that. The painting crew was very respectful not to leave any drinking cups or anything at the end of each day. There was no overspray or problems like another reviewer said. Any company that hires can have better employees one year to the next. I would not hesitate to call this company next time needed. The only reason I took a star off was because there was a small dent in my new guttering where they placed the ladder to get up on the roof. It could not be avoided as there wasn't a spot without guttering for them to get up there. I didn't even mention it to the business owner. Sometimes you just take your lumps in life and move on. Not a good experience. Robert came out to do the estimate and made promises he couldn't keep. It took several calls and no less than 10 emails to find out the work couldn't be done in the timeframe discussed. The team that did the work had practically no supervision and was clearly inexperienced. The work was shoddy and the team damaged existing walls as they were working on the project. The "repaired" the damaged areas poorly. A few months after the work was complete we discovered the paint on one wall easily wipes off with a damp cloth. After multiple promises by the manager, David, to come out to resolve the issue TCB has failed to live up to a reasonable standard of quality work. I would not recommend them. read more

I am a very satisfied customer with Christan bros painting work. They gave us a good price . We had them come and paint our house and did a good job. They did leave trash but they came and picked it up the next day. We also had some vines and they helped remove those before painting. Would use again. read more
