i'd been scheduled to appear in court monthly for the last six months, and yesterday was the last appearance for the alternative court program for which i'd been scheduled. the proceeding was timely and efficient, with specific thanks due to ms. weather, the court-appointed case manager for the program, and the ruling judge, judge horton, who while not having as direct an influence on the journey in the program as ms. weather, was straightforward today in communicating the terms of graduation, including owning no payment to the court and obtaining one more document from the court for background check case expungement. further, i'll be remiss if i did not thank the counseling group that petitioned for the admittance to alternative misdemeanor court, two goats solutions, especially point attorney mrs. pansy and representative ms cheyenne. while the term transformation that appears on the graduation certificate i received today seems a bit exaggerated, i've definitely been given a prime opportunity from participation in the program, and i'm confident the growth i have experienced in the six months has been more enjoyable, and subjectively more beneficial than the alternative of prison time. read more

I recommend this place for all things judicial. If you need a judge or a sheriff you can walk in and they are happy to assist you. The chaplain at the detective department helped me pray for some lost or stolen items... and they reappeared. I was so grateful for the help! read more

Not that I have other court houses to compare this to, but super impressed her. There are custodians all over the place sanitizing. There are large hand sanitizers right by the elevators... masks (obviously) required. Not that I recommend needing to go to court but if you have to this is a very nice one! Downtown Tulsa is still improving the roads but all improvements are awesome! Just be sure to get there early for parking purposes! read more

A family member needed a legal document from 40 years ago. Not having a clue as to how to even start, I asked a friend of mine who works there. She said I would need to go to the Family Relations office, and they could help. The line wasn't long at all, and the woman behind the counter told me where to find some legal sounding case number. I walked around the corner, found the book, and sure enough; there it was, from 1976. I gave them the number, and within 10 minutes a copy of the document was printed, and delivered. I was completely impressed by how fast, accurate, and caring the staff was. You hear bad things about public employees, but I assure you, these women are on top of their game! read more

Clean courthouse and the staff is very nice... If your going to be here for a while there is a snack bar on the first floor and they have sandwiches, hamburgers, salads, hot dogs, and other types of food. Very yummy but a bit of money....i wouldn't recommend hanging outside the courthouse after 5pm (waiting for a ride) there are a lot of people asking you for money or to use your phone...oh i even got asked if i had prescription pills on me lol read more

So you're telling me that you're gonna charge us $8 for parking on top of the $50 for marriage license? Ya know it's not like that's supposed to be between us and God anyways. Then they kept screwing up our address and how our names are spelt. I asked to confirm how long it would be till we would receive our marriage certificate in the mail and she told me to bring it back in person because she won't guarantee we'll ever receive it. HOW HARD IS IT TO MAIL SOMETHING? This is the only state location I've known to push something like that off on the customer. Ridiculous. She then continued to tell me that it happens "a lot, well not a lot. Often, but not too often" so basically do you know to mail? This is outrageous. Our county's local system of juriprudence and county offices. Basement: Court records, jury pool, community services, drug testing 1st Floor:Land records, meeting room, snack bar, protective order docket, small claims court, criminal arraignments, friendly suits, and misdemeanor cases. 2nd Floor: County assessor office, county court clerk's office, law library (also if the urge to go, happens, one of the better bathrooms is located next to the county assessors office) 3rd Floor: County treasurer's offices other county offices, staff lounge, family and domestic docket, criminal preliminary hearings and drug court. 4th Floor: Criminal felony dockets 5th Floor: One criminal felony judge, one civil docket and the probate division 6th Floor: Civil dockets and the parenting planning conference docket and child support contempt docket 7th Floor: Civil dockets 8th and 9th Floor: District Attorney's offices All in all your standard court house. While they have done some improvements over the past couple of years,mainly the new entry ways off of Denver and the north part of the building facing the plaza, the south entry way has yet to be reopened and the place could do with some remodeling...particularly some of the bathrooms. However, I don't expect anything any time soon since the budget has been cut. read more

I've always had issues with this place. You have to pay for parking to pay for a ticket. It's confusing to get around in the building. And they're taking weeks for me to get into my house!!! I have to pay my apartment for ANOTHER month of rent so I don't have to live on the streets. read more

This is an older building that was built back in the 1950s. It does not have a lot of style, but is well maintained. The staff members are very friendly. They are also very knowledgeable and great to work with. The Tulsa County Court House could use a remodel but all in all its a pretty good place to work. read more

The location is awful because it is located right in the heart of downtown Tulsa...it is surrounded by parking lots where you have to pay for parking. The customer service is A+...everybody there is very helpful...all in all the Tulsa County Courthouse is a good place to do business. read more
