The salesperson must have been having a bad day. She reiterated repeatedly that she had to have a receipt and that there had to have been a gift receipt with the gift. Rather than issuing a giftcard and concluding the transaction she said that she didn't want to issue the giftcard because it would be for a low markdown amount...huh?! After repeated arguing, I finally told her just to keep the clothes, she obviously needed them worse than I did and left. Unfortunately, sales associates only want to sell, not ring returns. Its so much easier just to shop on line with Amazon. Stores want customers to shop local, but make the experience difficult and embarrassing. Don't shop Belk in Vidalia!!

Lack of knowledge and lack of product is of concern; on most recent visit today I needed a lead…read morewire assembly for my 15 gallon sprayer but was not in stock; I observed many other commonly used parts were also out of stock for same/similar sprayer. Clerk did her best but simply did not know the part she would have sold me was not the correct part. She then advised it would be best for me to call FIMCO and gave me their 1800#. I returned home and called FIMCO who advised me this route was much more expensive. He also advised the store should know that the store was to call FIMCO and order directly which would save me at least $20. This approach was not offered. FIMCO advised I was to return to TSC and give the supplied part number and have them order the part. The person who helped me was serving the desk called "Customer Service - The Know How Place".

Just got done shopping in your store, this store was outrageously the worst store out of all Dollar…read moreTrees that I've shopped in, merchandise was scattered all over the place through out the store not leaving enough room for customers to get around in to do their shopping, there are 3 or 4 registers in your store and you enough employees roaming around but yet only 1 register open with a long line of customers wanting to get rung up so they can proceed to do other things throughout their day before going home to relax, there is a manager in your store and she doesn't seem to want to get another register open to slow down the congestion of the long line of customers wanting to cash out to go do other things and the employees there are pure out rude to customers which is uncalled for, I work in retail and I know the right way to treat customers and I also know how important it is to keep a store clean and organized. There is no excuse in your store being so outrageously nasty all the way through.....
