A few days later They sent out a man to see if the trees could be taken down without the electric company trimming the trees off the lines. He said he could do it "No problem." The start date came and went, no show. Next day no show. Called the company and was told they needed to limbs to be trimmed. I told the lady what was said and was told she didn't know why they would say that. Me either I thought. I then began the fight with the electric company. Once the electric company came, They cut the trees down to the trunks. We could handle that alone but there was one tree we couldn't do. Too tall. Asked for a new estimate just for the one tree and the excuses began. They wanted the job when it was a $4000 job. Not interested in a cheaper one. Kept waiting and waiting for someone to come out. Then was told it would be a month wait after the estimate. Funny how they were ready to jump on the job when they were getting a larger amount of money. Oh and if you are not ready to be preached at, don't call. The first guy tried to convert me at the end of the estimate.

So, I called and spoke with a female who said that she would get ahold of the estimator and get back with me. Another week went by....no calls. So, I called again and left a message with someone who appeared to be taking calls during the lunch hour. He said he would give them the message and they would call back. Another week....no calls. I guess if they didn't think the job was profitable enough, maybe they should have at least had the courtesy to let me know so I could get another estimate. Now weeks have passed by and I have to start all over again with new estimates. They were not reliable at all when it came to returning my calls and I never even got an estimate for the work. One tree (an Apple tree) dumped Apples all over the yard from cut down branches. The guys cleaned up all loose branches and left the yard as good as when they arrived. Part of the wall collapsed this year and I asked for a quote to fix it (it is out of warranty), and I was told they no longer do boulder walls and they could not fix it nor recommend a company to help! II did find a company to fix it, which is going to cost me $3500! I am not happy that I got no support and don't think they should have a picture of our job on their web site if they no linger do Boulder Walls!
