In 2020 Tony and his crew did a fabulous job installing a 40 x 12+ foot patio behind our house. The project started with our design. We specified a particular pattern to the patio blocks. Tony was VERY receptive to the idea. Tony enlightened us to a code violation in out design and we adjusted to make it right. This had to do with the size of the step coming out of our house. We designed a small step to maximize patio area. Code called for a large "stoop." Turns out, we love the large stoop. Tony's crew had to tear out the old patio. install drain pipes and electrical conduit. prep the much larger area, work around an existing maple tree, and place the patio pavers in our specific pattern. All was done with the utmost care ! The crew was polite and very careful of the surrounding landscape. Right after Tony's crew got their materials delivered (stone, pavers, and sand on our driveway), our furnace died.. The crew cleared a path on the driveway for the HVAC guys to install a new furnace. When I asked them to clear a path, they jumped right in and made it happen (no complaining, just action). This is above and beyond the required service. Our design called for a step-down to a smaller patio that butted up against an existing raised flower bed. We call this area "the wet area" due to its intended use for plant watering and hose storage. The crew did an excellent job with this area. I cannot say enough good things about the manner that they worked. Extremely professional (no yelling, no swearing, no loud music, and very polite when asked questions). Allscapes landscape completed my patio very recently. The team did a commendable job from the start until the finish. I was there to monitor the work for the 2 1/2 full days they worked. They were extremely careful when they had to take the materials to backyard over my lawn. They made sure my lawn was well protected. They carefully removed my old deck, trees and bushes surrounding it and did all the prep work for the project like filling the area with gravel, sand and all the necessary things (I am not aware of the ingredients). On the last day they laid the bricks and at the end it was a treat to watch the new patio. It was exactly what I had in mind. The team made sure that they filled the affected lawn area with new grass seeds & hay. The best part was the price that was quoted never changed even though they had to add the premium sand between the brick that was not there in the initial quote. I did get quotes from several other suppliers but the reason I went with Allscape was that Tony took a lot of time to explain the entire project and went into details. It was worth the money I spent. The entire crew was extremely courteous and very friendly. This was one house project I should say I am 100% satisfied. read more

Allscapes has successfully completed several projects for us over the past three years. The first was a large boulder retaining wall job at our historic property that required expert project management due to space limitations and not interfering with local road traffic. The guys handled it with ease, and at a significant savings over other quotes. Allscapes has also installed and leveled brick pavers for us, regraded and reinforced large plant beds, installed rock beds and rock drains, installed buried downspouts, trimmed concrete, and other various related tasks. It's great that they have expertise in operating machinery (bobcats, etc.) to accomplish medium to large landscape construction jobs. But they also have a great eye for layout, color and overall landscape design. They can plant and mulch to provide finishing touches, which makes them a one stop shop for any landscape-related needs we have ever had. This company delivered a great product very professionally! Finding a contractor who is reliable, honest, communicative, responsible, and GOOD proved to be dificult for us. After talking to at least 10 other companies, Allscapes was referred to me. I called Tony and we were very impressed with the level of attention that he gave to us - begining from the first conversation. He gave us great ideas for our backyard and had catalogs and pictures to help us visualize them. He and his crew were attentive to detail throughout the whole process. They showed up when they said they would show up and Tony was in constant communication throughout the whole process. In 2013 we had Allscapes install a brick paver patio and winding walkway. We were very pleased with the project. The quality of work is top notch, it was done in a timely fashion and looks great. The crew worked hard to get the job done and cleaned up nicely. This year we had Allscapes back to landscape our front yard and add a front walkway. Tony worked with my husband and I to design the plan and did research to determine the best plants to use (we have many black walnut trees which are toxic to many plants). It turned out great and bloomed nicely throughout late spring and into the fall. We are very satisfied and will use Allscapes for any future projects we plan. read more
