I have used Empire a few times now and 2 of the 3 times there were issues. The most recent incident their lawn mower stopped working in the middle of mowing our lawn, we were told they would be out first thing the next morning. The next morning I had to call and ask when they would arrive and David Peltz tells me they would be back sometime in the afternoon or the next day. No concern at all they left a job unfinished. Who leaves a job unfinished, with no call to the customer or at least an apology for the inconvenience. A company that doesn't value their customers. The previous issue we had with Empire was the same kind of lack of pride in their work. We asked for some basic mowing and edging to be completed, the job was less than satisfactory. I have posted some pictures for reference, so people can see the quality of work.

However (only one year later) now I have a full rock bed full of grass and weeds. I'm not sure what kind of fabric they used under the rock but it's only been one year since they installed it and it looks weedy. I cannot even keep up with all of the weeds and grass coming through it. I'm very disappointed that I paid them to install fabric. It honestly looks as if there is nothing under the rock. Would not recommend the fabric they use.

This past Friday, the plumber ripped up the whole northside of the turf and discovered two more leaks. On 4 separate occasions I contacted Vince, the owner of the company, at two different phone numbers and he has to date never responded to any of my Text messages. Since customer service is first and foremost in any busines, do you really think that this is the way he should treat people???

The turf itself is thick and soft and truly looks like real grass. They incorporated a border and used Flagstone I had to add a pathway. They trimmed bushes, and in my front yard, they also updated a pathway with crusher fine. They went above and beyond, arriving when they said they would and completed the entire job by mid afternoon. Incredible value for all the work and much less than if I had gone with another company.
