What I like about this Walmart vs. the Bloomsburg Walmart, is this store seems to have a better and more frequently restocked selection of items. The selection of items in the freezer section stands out. Where this Walmart loses out is due to being in a high theft area, a significant number of items are behind glass or locked up in some form. If a store does this, they need to have employees available at all times to come and get the items unlocked. This store does not seem to have those employees in the evenings to pull this off based on the roughly 10 minutes wait I had on a Friday evening. I left without the item. The self-checkout systems here are not as user friendly as other's I've seen, and the area to use them is constrained in space on the grocery side. This is also probably due to theft issues. Overall, I do like coming to this Walmart despite it being out of my way for the better selection compared to the Bloomsburg store.

We have the Walmart app which if you use it right is cheaper than going to the store. I'm former law enforcement and I always carry in this store "if" I have to go. The staff is basically 90% of people who hate you and 10% who work part time and are happy. We always go to the other place with a red circle store 40 minutes away (with tons of restaurants)just to not deal with this mess unless there is something we need right away.

To tell you the truth, Rick and I are both good cooks and we don't mind splitting the kitchen chores. And generally the food you prepare yourself is way healthier than what you get dining out. Not to mention the cost factor either. We stocked up on meats, cereals, and the fruits that a type-1 diabetic needs to get through the day. It's a pleasant small town grocery store. They have corn growing right now and a huge orchard that you can see from the road. They offer all the usual things produce wise and at very good prices compared to grocery stores. They also have things that they have canned like peppers, pickles and honey. It's obviously a family business as they knew many of the customers while we were there. The people who were working were amazing and very helpful. They offer pull behind wagons for your shopping experience and they even have a small cafe across the road (it's literally a road) from the market. It serves your basic fare from burgers and fries to breakfast and coffee. It's very clean and open with great prices.
