He…read morewas able to absolutely entertain the entire group of fifteen or so 4-6 year olds for more than an hour (longer than he had anticipated) and I can't tell you how much laughter and shrieks of delight we heard. Most importantly to us, he was able to get our fairly shy daughter comfortable and up in front of the group of her friends to join in his act and, even better, she had a great time doing it. He also stayed after the show to make balloon animals for all of the kids in attendance which was a big hit. It was all around a great show and Alex was fantastic at working with the kids. We were so lucky he agreed to drive well outside of his usual area to perform. His illusions were mesmerizing, and he expertly handled a room full of inquisitive and skeptical kids by getting most of them involved in his performance. He gave a great message in the end of the performance also, drawing on the themes of inclusion and acceptance from the Harry Potter stories, which the adults present also mentioned as being a highlight.
