When our step-father passed away in 2021, our mother chose Turner Funeral Home. Sandra Bonilla guided her through the whole process and all the staff did an exceptional job making the memorial exactly how she wanted it. Our mother just passed on October 1, 2022 and we went back to Sandra. Again, Sandra helped us through the process. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the memorial and move it elsewhere due to our brother needing life threatening surgery. Sandra was so compassionate, telling us not to worry about the contract. She took care of the paperwork for the cremation right away. It was such a relief during a stressful time. If you have to go through the process, we highly recommend working with Sandra and the staff at Turner Funeral home. read more

Met with Gabrielle. Very nice and patient young lady. I did 85% of the talking. We will have to set up another appointment where it's the reverse. Very nice funeral home. Cemetary is beautful. Lots of trees and open areas. Mausoleums as well. Crematorium on sight. Lots of options avaiable to you. They even have an area for guests to have a catered lunch after the service!! One stop shopping. You can even be buried in a kayak!!! I love the dolphin statue. I'll be buried in NJ, but probably will have my service here and a memorial service in NJ by my grave. I'll be buried at the foot of my Dad's grave in the same cemetary as Tina and Nana. I took a lot of pictures too share. read more

My mother-in-law's wake and funeral arrangements were all done through Turner and the whole family was grateful for the courteous and professional approach to everything. They even arranged for the flowers to be brought to Hospice patients afterwards so they would not go to waste. Bill, Sam, and Sue were so attentive and helpful throughout those difficult days. First and foremost I like to thank Chelsi, Dave and the entire staff at Turner Funeral home. They made a very difficult and extremely sad moment in my family's life with the passing of our mother. This place is all about the Benjamin's! Everything is dollar signs. They also need to train their staff. My family and I were there 4 hours! Unbelievable! We didn't hold our viewing here but we did buy property at the cemetery. When I returned to make arrangements for the burial. I did t even get an I'm sorry for your loss which proves to me that I made the correct decision by not using them. No compassion. read more

Went to a funeral for a friends sister , showed up no parking no one to show us where to park , no one greeted us at door to show us to sign guest book where to leave cards etc . Room was small and not enough chairs . Sound system didn't work for music had to take phone and put it by microphone . Service was very beautiful thanks to the family and friends but would not recommend this place did not see one person in the funeral home representing the establishment . Tissues were in every other row so our row did not have tissues for the ceremony . Very disappointing would not recommend . read more

If I could give no stars I would. My Uncle was taken to Turner Funeral Homes Spring Hill Chapel the night he passed. We were called the very next day in regards to having his body prepared for viewing and transport out of state. We gave permission over the phone and assumed all was well. We were wrong! We met with the funeral home two days later to go over prices of having my Uncle's body sent back home to be buried next to his mom and brother. The prices were outrageous so we decided to go with Pinecrest Funeral Chapel. Upon arriving at Pinecrest to finish the arrangements with them the same day as our appointment with Turner, we found out his body had not been prepared and had been untouched for the two days. My Uncle's body arrived at Pinecrest later that day with extreme discoloration. Pinecrest did their best to cover up the discoloration but unfortunately there wasn't much they could do. I called Turner to find out where the miscommunication happened and why my Uncle's body was not prepared and I was told by the Manager that it's because they are such a big company that they only have one facility that actually prepares the body's from all the way down in St. Petersburg to all the way up in Ocala and that they can only get so many done in a day. I was also told that they do it based on when the viewing or funeral will be held. So because my Uncle was being ship out of state his body wasn't of importance. I will not recommend or ever use Turner Funeral for any of my love ones or friends. read more

turner funeral home was very kind to my mom when my dad past...i cannot remember his name.. but he visited my mom about 2 weeks later...just to see how she was doing... my brother and i really appreciated his kindness and caring. my mom past about 7 years ago, and since i live in ny..i cannot visit the graves.. denise is so thoughtful at turner, i send flowers for all the holidays and she sends me pictures so i can view them i cannot say enough about this place.. thank you from the bottom of my heart. read more

I never knew that planning a funeral could get any worse then it already was. Our experience with Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill was anything but easy. It is usually a time when people are sympathetic to your situation. Well, we went in on a Sunday 1/14/18 after my Mom passed away on Friday 1/12/18. We were greeted by George and we sat through the pain of planning my Mom's funeral with my distraught 87 year old Dad. We planned the funeral, It was to be 1/19/2018 from 4-6 pm and 6-7 pm was the mass. We had family coming in from out of town and needed Friday or Saturday 1/19/18 or 1/20/18. We returned home and soon after George called claiming he had double booked the room. You have ONE room how do you double book it. We were offered Thursday 1/18/18 which would not have worked. When I told him this I had said I would call Brewer's Funeral Home in Spring Hill,, FL who were WONDERFUL and SYMPATHETIC to the situation. Our family was put through the grief of planning my Mom's funeral once more with Brewer's Funeral Home. We were told by Turner FH her body would be released after we signed the release which we signed at 11:30 an on Monday, 1/15/18. We then received another phone call on Monday at 4:30 pm to tell us my Dad needed to bring his Drivers License in before they could release her body to Brewer's. Imagine telling an 87 man who is distraught of losing his wife and planning her funeral twice that they are now holding her body till they get a Drivers License. Calling at 4:30 when they close at 5pm. We now had to get someone to my Dad's house to take him to Turner's. We were treated rudely and that is unacceptable. Long story short her body was not able to be picked up till Tuesday late afternoon. I think Turner's Funeral Home was very unprofessional and made a bad situation worse. How do you overbook ONE room? I would never recommend them nor would I ever use them. This sounds like a book but it was an awful experience and would hope no one else is ever put through this after losing a loved one. read more

My father passed away on 03/24/2020 in the middle of the Covid-19. While I understand how different things are, things like respect and treating people who just lost their father with kindness shouldn't be so hard to do. However, the kindest people at this place where the two gentleman that came and picked up my father's body. We couldn't meet face to face with a human being, we were charged an almost 3000.00 professional fee for what we still have no clue, because there weren't much in the way of professionalism. The people at the funeral home the day of my dads service weren't kind or compassionate, I fact we felt like we were bothering them. During his service the pastor had to step put and ask them to turn off their music which was interrupting put precious last goodbye. I will be contacting the funeral home tomorrow and if I can't get a good answer to my questions, I'll be contacting the news and any newspaper that would want to publish a good story of a veteran, a loving father, grandfather and a pastor for over 50 years and why we were treated the way we were. read more

This is the worst funeral home I have ever been to!!! My grandmother passed we asked for Friday 4-6 and 6-7 for the mass George the director said they were open and that would work... 2 hours later George calls us and said he was sorry but that they doubled booked the ONE room they have and we have ri move the service to Thursday..... we could not love it due to family coming so we requested to have her moved to another funeral home. We went Brewers and sons they are wonderful and they went to pick up my grandma and Turners would not release her !!! Can you believe that? Brewers requested to get her at 11am they wait to 430 to tell us our 87 yr grandpa had to bring his license to prove it was his signature! What a joke this place is! Going to plan a service is hard enough but when you have to go and do it for a second time is the worst and then not to release her body come on!! I will NEVER go to Turners funeral home again !!! read more
