Whether our patients are an hour old to over 100 years old, we care for you and we care about you. Our other services include acupuncture, massage therapy, and food allergy testing. We also specialize in newborn baby bio-mechanical & structural issues that inhibit breastfeeding, including tongue-tie, lip-tie, and buccal ties. Most of the time, the adults in our practice call for their initial appointment because they are in pain. Sometimes, it is an acute injury such as a sports injury or picking up something heavy. There are also patients that have had pain for months or years, seeking medical treatment or physical therapy, without much relief and they have decided to try chiropractic care. Either way, at Stratton Chiropractic, we are equipped to handle any situation. Whether you have chronic pain or have an acute injury, your initial visit will include a detailed history as well as a comprehensive exam. Basic vitals, range of motion, reflexes, and orthopedic tests will be performed. Since each situation is unique, and a specialized treatment plan will be discussed with you at your initial visit.

Meet the Business Owner: Colleen S.

Dr. Colleen Stratton is a native of Oak Lawn, Illinois. She graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois with a B.A. in Biology. Dr. Stratton received her B.S. in Human Biology from National College of Chiropractic in 1997 and received her D.C. degree with honors in April 1999. Dr. Stratton completed her post-doctoral certification in Acupuncture in May 2000. She also has her certification from the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics. Dr. Stratton is a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Society, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She holds a position on the Board of Directors of the Edwardsville Region Breastfeeding Task Force. Dr. Stratton spent 8 years as a birth doula in the St. Louis area providing natural labor support for families. Dr. Stratton has been living in Waterloo since October 1999. She has three wonderful school age children who keep her focused on the family.
