The University Model School approach is different... and requires a substantial commitment on the parents (co-teachers) in partnership with the school - but for our family, it has been worth the sacrifice. This is not a perfect school, but it is a good school and the faculty and staff love the students very much. Overall, we are pleased with the level of education (life and academics) DCA has provided for our kids.

I was very disappointment at the lack of communication this school had post touring. Fast toward to us finally touring the school and hauling my kids there, we never received applications. It was a hassle to get a hold of someone even when school was in session. Sometimes a teen would answer the phone. I'm not sure but it was unorganized. The school itself had a lot going on inside. They never mentioned fees etc in the walk through. Told me they had spots open for my kids months go by and no word. Until I finally hear back and the spots are filled and we were 2 weeks from our deadline for picking a school. Poor commutation. Hard to reach (They mentioned summer hours but even then the amount of calling and voicemails I left while school was in session and right after still give no excuse.) The concept is great, but still a very dispose experience to say the least. They need better organization and communication.
