The information was laid out in a logical order from start to finish. Some bootcamps go by knowledge area, going through each process group and then going back to previous groups as they go through the next knowledge areas. PMA handles each process group for all knowledge areas and then moves on to the next process group. The way they went through it resulted in a much easier learning experience for me. Marty was a great instructor, even before the class. He had mailed out an introduction email and when I wrote him back that I would be sitting for the test 5 days after the bootcamp was to complete he emailed me right back with things I could start before the class to "get me ahead of the curve." He also didn't have any trouble keeping the pace of the class going, each subject area was given enough time for Q&A and we finished on time each night. The mock exam, exam test prep and access to all the web-tools gave me the knowledge, experience and confidence to take my exam in a very short period of time and pass it on the first try and that is really what the class is all about. After 3 weeks, we still have not had a successful tutoring session and I have had to spend almost 8 hours on the phone trying to get help. At first, they kept matching her with tutors who were trying to schedule sessions outside of her availability - which was in her profile. We had to do the work of calling and complaining each time we matched with a tutor and they scheduled an incorrect session. For example, she is supposed to have tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We got session requests for Saturday at 7pm. wtf? Then, their customer service sucks. Most of their service reps are outside of the US and there is no way to escalate and talk to a manager. They say that a manager "will call you back in the next 24-48 hours", but if you miss that call, there is no way to call the manager back directly. You have to go through the ENTIRE song and dance again, with a new rep that knows nothing about your case. They FINALLY matched our kid with a tutor available during her time, but only after I spent SEVEN HOURS on the phone with them on Monday and had to talk to multiple different reps. I was hung up on twice by folks who said "what do you want me to do? Ive flagged the problem.". This week, our 6th grader was supposed to start her tutoring but guess what? The tutor has cancelled BOTH SESSIONS this week last minute. On Tuesday, she cancelled about 30 minutes before our session and didnt find another tutor to step in. Today, she cancelled 5 minutes before our session without even a "sorry". I called the customer service line back and have just spent the last 45 minutes on the phone trying to talk to a manager about this with no luck. Interestingly, the customer service reps have no authority to help you with your tutor or cancel your membership. This place is a horrible scam. They do not care about you. They do not care about your children. They do not care about education.

Thank goodness for Tutor Doctor!…read more I would highly recommend this company to anyone who feels like they need help for their children with all of the homework, projects, stress, etc. In other words, almost all parents! I signed up with Tutor Doctor late last school year after a friend recommended them because my son has ADHD and was having a tough time during his sixth grade year. Jeff, the owner, is wonderful, gave us a good deal, and set me up with Valerie who is an amazing tutor. My son is doing better with organization, completing assignments, and completing his math. Most importantly, he is calmer and less stressed because he is getting help and feels like he has an advocate in his corner. And I love it because I don't have to do the daily "homework battle" anymore. Jeff and his staff really care about the quality of service that they provide and have been a godsend!
