I was surprised the store wasn't on Yelp. I mentioned that to the sales person and she seemed unconcerned. Ah well. I told her that I'd create the Yelp page as I can't imagine they wouldn't welcome more business. ??!! The store is located in the typical quaint Aventura strip of stores. Upon walking in, I liked it immediately. It smelled great and was merchandised in a way that was inviting and even sort of calming. The store sells cute active wear and workout gear. Think...lululemon and Peace Love World got married and had a baby--the baby is Restless Soul. The vibe is very NY/LA/Miami hottie moms who don't mind spending a bit too much on a slouchy Flashdance off the shoulder top. Which this NYC single girl has all of a sudden morphed into!!! All of a sudden I live on South Beach, I'm coupled, have a baby, workout in hot mama gear and shop at Restless Soul and buy pricey tank tops!!! The store has great tanks, jersey knit tops and capris, sweet leggings that will take you from your Flywheel class to chilling at Panther after. That kind of gear. There was also a collection of great trendy bracelets, necklaces, etc. There were a substantial amount of items on a sale rack, all great stuff as well. Now, the salesperson was initially very friendly and helpful. I wasn't having the greatest day and ultimately didn't find anything I wanted. She was clearly annoyed that I'd walked around the store and was leaving empty handed. Uncool, girlee. That said, she did invite me back, and I will return. For some hot mama tanks.

You are greeted from someone behind the counter, who doesn't even have the courtesy to come out from behind the counter and her coworker. And asks a question "What are you looking for?" If I knew what I was looking for it wouldn't be called shopping. At least she didn't ask a question that would elicit a "No" response. This was yesterday in Bal Harbour. Btw they let you try on. Most stores do not during te pandemic and I am not sure its a mandate. When I took the top home, I was going to wash it first. Looked at the washing instructions and it says Dry Clean only, or hand wash. A $59 top. No thank you. Today I brought it back to their store in Aventura. The same salesperson was there. I told her I needed to return the top because you can't wash it. (Another brilliant question) "What do you mean?" I did say "Which part of "you can't wash it" didn't you understand?" So she glared at me and read the instructions. Yup, dry clean only. So I looked around as I would like to buy something else. There was nothing else that caught my eye. She tells me they will leave it on my account for when I come in again. I told her I wanted it credited to my Amex. She told me their policy is store credit. I told her that it wasn't what I wanted and furthermore, there is nothing that says that on their receipt, no sign in the stores that say that. Oh she said I thought I mentioned that yesterday. No you did not. I reiterated that I wanted a refund. She said she would have to ask her manager. I told her please get the manager, she told me she was gone. So I left the item there, and told her Amex will refund it. She shrugged her shoulders and I left. As I am starting my car I see the owner leave the store! The little witch lied. Just to make it more inconvenient for me. For shopper's info: if policies are not on receipt and there are no signs in clear view in a store. They cannot just "tell you". Old saying, "You can fool some of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time". Clearly.

Out of the six workers present, only one was kind enough to find me a seat when I asked, but I had to wait another five minutes unattended before I got annoyed and left. Not to mention all the girls except for one had atrocious makeup. I was worried about who I would get while waiting.... Take your business to Impulse at Macy's. Not only do they carry better products but the staff isn't rude and unprofessional. I've been going to this Mac for YEARS as it is conveniently located, and I am only giving it two stars for an employee who is great and wasn't there today.

Prom... crazy time! our daughter did not hound us for a new dress or a fancy hairdo but she did…read morewant to have her make up done. Knowing how crazy this place gets for Prom season, we called a month ago to the date of service we wanted (that is the required time) and had no problem getting an appointment. Exited about the day, we seemed to be moving in fast pace and found ourselves arriving to the makeup counter about 1 hr earlier than our actual appointment. We were quickly welcomed by a very nice young lady named Jackie who took our information and immediately instructed us to sit so that our make up artist Carlos could attend us. Carlos our make up angel appeared! our daughter had a particular look in mind and advised in detail to him her exact idea, even providing him a photo of her bright red dress!!! she wanted to have "smoky eyes". He immediately noted her biggest feature which is her big brown eyes and walked away. Shortly came back with a tray filled with an array of colors, brushes and other goodies. He began his magic.... First started with the eyes. Keeping true to her wishes, but yet using his experience to determine that smoky for her should be a bit lighter than usual he started. With every stroke of his brush it was like watching an artist transform a blank canvas into something beautiful. People were actually stopping in their tracks to glance at her. Her eyes were done in a Grey smoky silver shade. Enhancing her natural beauty and shape, he made her eyes look even bigger. No skimming on details. Then moved onto her face, covering up that little darn nervous pimple which popped up in the morning!! Its like the darn thing was vanished!!! Colors he chose were amazing. Powder, blush, concealer all blended in naturally. He was so kind, professional, funny and helpful. It did sadden us to find out that Carlos is a "freelancer" trying to become permanent. His overall demeanor was amazing and i believe a great asset to the MAC organization. He really took his time and effort to listen to our daughter and complete her makeup be on any ones expectations. If you need a make over, i highly recommend Carlos and hopefully he will be around. Thanks MAC but most of all THANKS CARLOS!!

She has become quite close to the owner and I can see why... its a small business set up by an entrepreneur who obviously LOVES what she does. Bustiers for... get this.... $20 - $50!!!!!! I KID YOU NOT!
