He said he can make some adjustments but the motor was old (almost 20 years old) and that it would just be a bandaid. He told me the prices and features of my options and they were less than I had expected (since I have 8ft garage doors). I call Sunbelt and get in touch with Bill who is the owner. He mentioned he charges $95 an hour and both thermostats will take about an hour. He always super honest helpful and friendly. I mentioned to him unsure of cords and compatibility and so my husband called him back talking about HVAC stuff. He was insightful also to my husband. Shannon and Ryan i think was his name both show up today get both thermostats done in less than an hour and are super informative about what they're doing. They were super friendly guys and made an effort to get to know you as a customer. They also cleaned up after themselves which is super hard to find.
