DJ saved the day - and my garden! I don't often recommend contractors publicly, but David's Plumbing absolutely earned it. I recently had my water service line replaced from the meter to my house. During the project, David discovered that the boring contractor hadn't installed the new line deep enough to meet code. It would have been easy to work around it, trench through my landscaping, or simply let it go--but instead, he advocated for me. He stood his ground, insisted the boring company come back and do the job correctly, and ultimately saved me from ending up with a substandard installation. That decision cost him an entire day's work while everyone waited for the boring company to return, but he still put doing the job right ahead of simply getting paid and moving on. To top it off, when the project was finished, his final invoice came in below the high end of the estimate he had originally given me. In a world where it's common to brace yourself for surprise costs, that was a refreshing experience. If you're looking for a plumber who is knowledgeable, honest, and willing to advocate for his customers instead of taking the easy way out, I can wholeheartedly recommend David's Plumbing. My experience with David over the phone and his son DJ on site were exceptional. Two super nice men and professional. What I was quoted sight unseen and then after the job was done was pretty much spot on. They were both very thorough and answered all my questions. There was nothing unexpected and all the information was upfront. Very reasonably priced. I had my hot water heater pulled and then reinstalled due to a mold issue in the closet it was in. I had no issues with their part of the project. He even replaced potential hazards from the previous installation that may have caused future damage which I really appreciated. We have recently dealt with plumbing nightmares, specifically multiple PEX leaks. Consequently, I have witnessed several plumbers and companies perform repairs. Most often this has involved repiping the old inferior PEX tubing originally used in the house's construction. This is particularly challenging given the plumbing is largely buried in the concrete slab. I've spoken with David on multiple occasions and his advice has been both kind and educational, especially in regards to identifying leaks prior to attempting repairs. Leaky outside faucet. Spent 20 minutes. Charged $185. Literally did nothing. The sole activity of the "plumber" was attempting to convince me that the solution to my leaky outside faucet was to pay them several thousand dollars to re-plumb my entire house. I went to Lowes and paid $10 for an attachment to the faucet that solves the problem. read more

Charged me for new toilet and unclogging drain which they did not do. Flushing toilet and sewer would come up in shower. Called them back and they couldn't get back to me because they had other jobs or it was raining which it was not. 24 hour service is BS. I had to get another plumbing company to come out same day. First of all, I'm not all into giving reviews to anyone unless I feel they deserve it! I just want to say that David is good guy and the owner of this company is very very helpful regarding my concerns with the gas water heater. My issue was that I replaced myself a thermocoupler on my gas water heater and had some concerns regarding the installation. I've called numerous plumbing services and all had a consultation fees except David which was free. He gave me some good advice and pointer hints regarding my thermocoupler installation which made me feel safe and comfortable about my work. Basically, I just needed a pro to double check the work I did , and all services offered range from $200 to $600 just to have a tech person to stop by which the work itself was done already. David didn't want to take money and assured me that my gas water heater is fine and have nothing to worry about as long as there is no gas leak occurring which I've checked hundreds of times and sprayed with soap and water. Thanks David for being honest and good person helping me out when needed the most. In the near future , if I or my family and friends ever have any issues regarding plumbing, I would definitely call for you and recommend them your service. Keep up the good work! read more
