From the moment I walked in, I was delighted by the incredible variety of home décor, antiques, vintage treasures, and quirky collectibles throughout the store. Every booth felt thoughtfully curated, with its own unique personality and charm. It was obvious that a great deal of care and creativity went into each display, making it a joy to browse and discover unexpected treasures around every corner. One thing that really stood out was the pricing. Everything was priced very reasonably, and each piece felt like an incredible value. In a time when many antique and vintage shops seem overpriced, it was refreshing to find such unique items at fair prices. The sales associate was a bit quiet when we first arrived, but as we continued shopping and checked out, she was incredibly pleasant, friendly, and personable. She carefully packed my purchase and made the experience feel warm and welcoming. If you love hunting for unique finds, vintage pieces, antiques, or one-of-a-kind décor items, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I left with a beautiful purchase and am already looking forward to coming back to see what new treasures I might find next time.

The Rock/Rock Hound business has gotten tougher over the decades. When gasoline was 25 cents a gallon, camping the way for families to stay outdoors, a lingering interest in wealth from stone and support for science from kindergarten to graduate school, it was fun and cool to search remote areas for interesting stones, have a rock/geology club and shows for selling the raw and processed finds. LPR&G surfed the trends. You will still find bins of polished stones for excited children. The front window displays ancient Morrocan solifified sea life polished to perfection next to beautiful geologist picks for exploring. Hot topic for 2026? Gold. Plastic pans sold out. Steel pans still stocked, a variety of books, atlases, specimen stones, and enough items of interest to stay in business another few decades.

I wanted to buy more but the lady behind the counter had an attitude and I was not sure why. I'm sure she wasn't aware of her demeanor but it was very unwelcoming and condescending. She also couldn't answer any of the questions I had about the crystals. I wanted to know what the stone my worry stones were made out of but she was unsure. I had a few other questions too but she had no answers to any of them. I also did not like how she spoke badly of the workers in the Alabama Hills Cafe. That left a bad impression on me. I also paid two visits to this shop hoping she was just having a bad day but both days were the same. I appreciated their set-up to keep people 6 feet apart. There were also signs on the door stating to use hand sanitizer and to wear a mask. Overall, I probably wouldn't return due to the customer service. However, their products are reasonably priced. Pay a visit if you're in the area and don't care for good customer service. Their shop is clean.
