We have had a camping theme, contstuction theme, Halloween theme, and November is food themed! Very cute and keeps things fresh enough for the kiddos. Would recommend waiting till your little one is 2, as some of the activities are pretty advanced and class is structured to be guided activities the majority of the time. Hard to wrangle a 15 month old independent little one who wants to do all the activities out of order, or run away during circle time.

I have spent years trying to talk my husband into taking dance lessons, when I finally gave up he surprised me with a gift certificate for mother's day. I jumped on it and booked our first lesson. We got to experience a private lesson, group class and practice party, maybe 2 private lessons, i don't remember but it was more than enough for us to fall in love with dancing. We were hooked after our first lesson!! WE, not just me, my hubby lives it too. He started watching dancing videos! All of our instructors have been great, so patient, fun and encouraging. We have one main instructor whom we adore and is incredible (we love you Mando!) But we also really enjoy dancing with the other instructors too, it's always nice to get someone else's perspective and sometimes hearing or seeing something a different way is just the path you need to finally get it. They truly are a team working together to help you be your best. We love festival time, it's probably our favorite time. We get to support our teachers and wear costumes. SO MUCH FUN! I recommend dancing at Arthur Murray to everyone. Bonus is that it has been great exercise for both of us and we are healthier than we have been in years! It's our date night, therapy sessions, gym membership and best stress reliever. Try it, you won't be dissapointed. BTW, you don't need a spouse or to bring someone with you, there are plenty of people that go on their own, I've also seen couples have their own lessons because there schedules don't match up or they want different things, it doesn't matter, come alone, bring your significant other to watch our come with a friend, just do it.

There is a big studio as soon as you enter with two large mirrors and then a smaller studio in the back. The instructors are outstanding. They have a really good method and everyone picked up the dance (in this case the bachata). It is OK to sign up if you do not have a partner because the rotate through partners often (which seems to help you learn). They also have social events were you can practice the dances you learned. Sound in Motion is a really nice place to learn to dance.

One is a whole lot of wild, while the other is painfully introverted and in her head. Jessica encourages and provides a supportive structured environment for them both to be themselves and challenges them to grow as dancers. I've watched the classes enough to see how Jessica loves all of her students and her genuine excitement when the kids land a new skill. It's a beautiful outlet for my daughters and we love the social climate of our studio. We love all of our dance friends! (: Jessica is also the real deal. The class on the schedule did not match the class and ended up with half way through the class having professional breakdancers freestyle which pushed 3 of us beginners to the side. The owner is very difficult to get ahold of and cut me off as I was gently explaining my frustrations which resulted in her hanging up on me. Really hope not all their clients get the short end of the stick like I have. If the issue is rectified, I will graciously update my review.

She breaks down the steps so anyone can understand and if you still aren't getting it, she finds a way for you to learn. There's also no pressure and it's just a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Plus, Heather is a normal person; she's not one of those pretentious dance instructors who make you feel awkward. People of all ages are in these classes, which is wonderful. They also hold social events every other Friday night, and they are a great opportunity to practice and learn. Overall, I've felt very comfortable and welcome in this studio and hope highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning Latin dance.
