I really liked this place! I found it to be quite cozy and cute. The stars at night were just magical; I don't know where else I've ever seen such a clear view of the Milky Way. The location was very convenient for seeing the fraudulently-named 12 Apostles, especially if you want to be there at dawn.
The cabin was chilly, as the entire continent of Australia and every establishment in it seem to be right now. But the heaters in the bedrooms and the heating pads on the beds worked great and that just made everything cozier. There was plenty of hot water. I thought it might run out, but it never did! The towels were clean and didn't have that mildewy smell that I'd been starting to think was endemic in this hemisphere.
Could everything have been a bit newer and less worn down? Sure, but it seems like everything is always just a little bit shabbier than you expect when you're traveling, especially after COVID. It was clean and quiet, and the location was great, and that's what matters most.
