We booked a night's stay online and told them that we were coming at 11pm. They replied promptly…read morethat 11pm was a little late and we could possibly have some trouble finding the place. We came at 11pm anyway. You check in by entering a keycode which they email you, and unlock your tent and bathroom. The tent bedroom and bathroom are apart, about 2 metres, and the walkaway is unsheltered. The bathroom has a glass wall facing a grass valley, and the view is good in the day. Towels and toiletries are provided here. The tent was freezing in March and we didn't use the electric blankets initially, then later did. I cannot imagine coming here in the dead of winter where the temperature is in the low single digits. I suggest you come here in summer/autumn/spring. There is a kettle and tea/coffee provided, but you have to bring your own food.

What a wondrous surprise to discover this off-the-beaten path retreat B&B so near the stunning…read moreocean-wonders along the Great Ocean Road, such as the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge (my fave) along the Pacific coast, west of Melbourne, AUS. The host harvests fresh eggs for her amazing breakfasts which include greens from her gardens, among other delectables. The host is a great guide for tourists who may need guidance and advice (we stayed with her for 4 days and she gave us a perfect itinerary each day). Our host calls herself a crafter, which she is... however we wished she could embrace the term artist... because her artwork will amaze and impress you: from sculptures, to quilts, to paintings and more... she is a true visionary. We give this place a million stars!

The 12 Apostles Cottages is a delightful escape from the city, stunning views and fantastic…read moreaccommodation! We couldn't be more impressed with our homely and comfortable little cottage. Woop Woop (our cottage) had everything we needed to have a great stay. There is the outdoor 'chill shed' which was awesome for playing pool and having a few beers. Inside were all sorts of interesting things, from spear guns, to board games and a fire place shaped like a coffin. The Cottages are only a few minutes from the Apostles themselves, in the perfect location for when you're driving through. Very much recommended, go and experience this wonderful place for yourself!

Quaint, quiet little spot for an overnight stay. We stayed here while we journeyed the great ocean…read moreroad. We didn't expect to be the only guests and have the entire place to ourselves (yay!) but it ended up working out. This place has a homey feel to it with access to an entire living room and kitchen where you can cook or heat up your leftovers. Beautiful view of the sky at night - we caught the Milky Way and two space clouds with the naked eye!
