It was such a pleasure to work with Sandy, Jill and Kayla in making the arrangements. All we had to do was select our food, explain our vision, agree to date and time, and sign our contract! They made it so easy for us. The night of the event, everything ran pretty smoothly. The food was excellent, the service exemplary, and a beautiful atmosphere with a lovely ambiance. Taylin, Hanna, and Alayna, along with the entire staff were so attentive but more importantly fun to interact with and the service couldn't have been better. They all contributed to a magical evening and experience. Thank you all so much. I highly recommend them for staging any special event, or any event for that matter!

She encouraged us not to get food from anywhere else and to "wait it out" for 2 - 3 hours until dinner. The kind bartender offered us crackers and oranges which is all she could do, but was very sympathetic. There were also 3 very SNIDE remarks from her to various people, one was to the photographer, about how the bride "didn't get a rehearsal dinner so (she) has no idea what's going on." Let me be clear, we are all very pleasant and easy going people who have ALL worked various service industry jobs. This set the tone for the rest of the night. Jill failed to do her job of making sure the bride was unseen by guests MULTIPLE times. She also told us, although it was discussed previously, that someone would be able to drive the bride to the entrance of the ceremony area. We were then told it would be impossible, as the car would be seen in photos? There was no argument back, but as we were taking photos, we realized the car would have never been in the photos in the first place. Jill is keeping this nasty attitude. The night goes on, at a steady pace, which did not seem fast enough for Jill. Everything felt rushed, and multiple times Jill was seen rolling her eyes and tapping her feet. Why do you have this job if you lack patience for someone's special day? The icing on the cake for me was the bartending experience. There was a tip jar for cash tips, and a Venmo scan code. The kicker of the Venmo scan code is that the code went to JILL! The wedding COORDINATOR! NOT the bartender! That was absolutely the last straw for me. The bartender was the only person who cared about the wedding and wedding party. Insane that Jill feels entitled to ANY of her tips. The bartender assured me they split them at the end of the night... but for what? The coordinator was NOT behind the bar, was NOT serving drinks. As a matter of fact, she was serving only one thing : major attitude and annoyance. 915 rolls around and Jill is cleaning up everything. The beautiful table my bride neatly put together, all thrown on a tray before the DJ is even done. If your drink as unattended while on the dance floor it was in the trash, and 915 is last call so there's no chance to get another. My bride had a beautiful day, but I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. The ONLY shining star was the sweet bartender, who truly deserves better. Edited to add: my husband just told me about how the chairs during the ceremony were PAINTED! So when everyone stood up they had huge white chalk like marks all over their pants and dresses. This actually forced people to sit on rocks during the ceremony. Another edit: no charcuterie board to the men's suite, and the DATE WAS WRONG ON THEIR BACKDROP (see picture!!!) when brought to Jill's attention, she said "well I'll HAVE to make a whole nother one if you want it fixed" what??? I would be SICK TO MY STOMACH if I messed that up. WOW. The more we discuss the night the more we all have to add. I'm sure this will not be the last edit.

The club contains 2 restaurants, one is private for their members (Fraternity Grill), and the other is open to the public (The College Room). We got the hummus, chicken Milanese, and grilled peaches. We also got a sneak peak of the new fall menu which has Arancini, roasted strip, and potato gnocchi. The gnocchi was my favorite dish; it was sooo good!!! The staff were all extremely nice and personable. I had a great time and I can't wait to go back :)

OMG people are still talking about the food weeks later and if you have an event do yourself a favor and upgrade to the beef brisket I think it was and don't forget the roasted potatoes- heaven. Also the complimets we heard is about the staff and we agree. The staff was not only quick and efficient, you had no idea that they were there. "how was my water glass never empty" was a comment we heard often. The space is also just beautiful and helped make our difficult day that much easier and memorable. Oh and out front of the building they had, on their sign, a message saying "Celebrating the life of (mom's name)". Nice touch.

The owners, Lenny and Dean and Amy, the Manager, were fantastic to work with and made the event everything we dreamed of. We felt very welcome throughout the planning. Cefalo's is a beautiful place to hold a wedding ceremony then dine on fantastic food cooked up by Dean and served by his staff in their dining room. After dinner, you can spend the rest of the evening partying the ballroom. They offer all the services, (or can recommend) you need when planning a wedding. For us and our guests, it was super convenient and easier to have everything for the wedding in one beautiful setting. The food, the hor's d'oeuvres, and entrees was amazing. There's also a huge bar attended by professional bartenders. The food servers were friendly, professional and very attentive. We received so many compliments from our guests on both the food and service. Many said that was the best food they ever had at a wedding! So, if you're looking for a top notch, First Class venue to have your wedding, look no further then Cefalos.

We originally had another wedding venue booked, but when we visited the Mayernik we knew we had to make the switch. We chose a Friday afternoon because we able to save a little bit of money, but also book other locations on the property to make it a full day experience for our guests. The Mayernik has some suggested vendors, but the only requirement is from choosing from one of their 3 food vendors. We tried each over time and settled on Remo's...who created an amazing meal for us. It was high quality and reasonably priced. Our wedding ceremony was at 1230, followed by a brunch reception. For the ceremony we opted for the extra cost of chairs to be set out and I'm glad we did. It was a beautiful day and I would have been uncomfortable forcing everyone to stand during our ceremony. After the reception, we invited a few guests to an after party at The Cabin, one of the smaller locations on the property. Leading up to and throughout the day, Jennifer was attentive and made sure all our details came through without us worrying. She even helped organize and pack things up at the end of the night. I was never worried during the experience and knew she had it handled. If I had to do it again, I'd pick the Mayernik as our choice venue. What a great day to remember!

I originally worked with the event coordinator Shannon, who was wonderful: very accommodating, available and informative. She notified me that she was leaving her job as event coordinator approximately 2 weeks before my wedding! I was a panicked bride after hearing this...what a nightmare! Shannon made our transition to Suzi, another event coordinator at the Center, extremely smooth. Although Shannon was pleasant to work with, I am so happy to have had Suzi coordinate my event. She is extremely personable, accommodating and flexible. I really felt like she was there for me on my wedding day. She took care of everything, from the last minute decision to move the ceremony inside to fluffing my train before I walked down the isle. She helped us clean up at the end of the night and my family and friends all loved working with her. The Mayernik Center is difficult to reserve, so I would plan to book at least a year ahead, preferably more if you want a Saturday date. I had a Friday wedding and would recommend it if all the Saturdays are taken. We did not have a DJ, but used the Mayernik Center's sound system to play music. It worked perfectly. The only reason I am not giving the Center 5 stars is that they do not have chairs available for outside ceremony's, which makes outside ceremony's very difficult. We spent about half a year organizing it, working with Stacy, Chadwick's Event Planning Manager. From the first meeting, she was extremely easy to work with and very helpful. She laid out all of our options and was honest in her process, allowing us to design the event how we wanted. She was our main support and I can't thank her enough for her excellent work. The Chadwick's dining service was similarly excellent. Our selection process was breezy, and the food tasted just as good when we sampled it as it did at the wedding. The in-house chef was great to work with and was a great help during the tasting process. Our guests gave us rave reviews both at the reception and after -- it was really that good. The Chadwick has a great location. The parking lot is expansive, and the venue is clean and elegant. Our ballroom was a perfect fit for about 130 guests. The table layout was custom-tailored and the (included!) bar service was a hit. The cost is unbeatable for the value, the staff is communicative and smart, the food is truly excellent, and the venue is wonderful. The Chadwick has my highest recommendation. I was planning my event from out of state and wanted to deal with as few vendors and little nitty-gritty details as possible. My husband and I worked with Stacey for the planning piece- she was awesome and readily accessible through e-mail or phone. I feel like I got everything that I wanted in the package that we designed together and that the pricing was fair. I would say that it would be a bit over-priced on a Saturday though. (paying full price- Friday and Sunday weddings get a decent sized price break). We had what they called the Elegant Sitdown Reception- 4 courses, plated and served. The food was pretty good for my taste and my guests loved it (which is what really mattered to me). The outdoor patio is beautiful! In response to a comment below- they must have updated the bathrooms. They look brand new now. They also did a bunch of work to the entrance hall that was under construction when I first went to tour the facility and completed by the time my wedding rolled around. Our event coordinator was really on her game the day of and I have ZERO complaints about her. tldr: my wedding was great! I was a very easygoing bride though and didn't have any sort of "grand vision" that I needed the details to be perfect on. They executed what I had in mind as well we I would have myself.
