I'm glad that I didn't need to sample 250 to get to that conclusion. The scone were light and the clotted cream was yellow. (A sign of more butter fat).The jams were outstanding. I have now just visited again (July, 2025) It is this recent visit, and the culmination of my previous visits, that I realized above all else, it is the staff, from the front desk personnel, the servers at the restaurant, the bartenders, the house cleaning team and even overnight security that make the Arundell so special. And on this particular visit, one employee in particular (Emma, who often works at reception, went above and beyond to help me out of a significant, unexpected travel bind.  Thank you to Emma and the entire Arundell staff - I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
