My mother-in-law was looking for someone to do snow removal or lawn mowing. There are quite a few elderly people that live here. I thought the office would have a bulletin board with some people looking to help others in the park whether it was a energetic kid in the area or a business offering their services. I went to the office to see if they could help. They were not helpful, there was no resources for tenants and it was a poorly designed office where people didn't want to help. My mother-in-law is also afraid of breaking any of the rules in fear they will kick them out at their age. I would think that the office would be more helpful than making tenants feel fearful. Now they are battling a bee issue. It would be nice if they had a newsletter or bulletin board with helpful services for those in need instead of making them afraid of the office. Maybe they will see this and do something about it.

While you have to play frogger with the potholes, have constant water shutoffs and generally no maintenance, you get constant rental increases. It's all groovy for maintenance to leave unskirted stairs on a rental , but if you're an owner, and maintenance has damaged your skirting, you'd better fix it asap. Oh and it's groovy for maintenance to let grass grow 3 feet high, but Nancy will be out on the golf cart taking pictures if you have 2 inches you forgot to weed whip. Nancy likes to rip off your access panels and water heater doors to take pictures, but can't be bothered to put them back into place. Isn't it awesome when a skunk or possum nests under your house? Rent is $748 a month and you can't even use the lot in peace. Every 6 month they increase rent, do no maintenance and have a storm shelter that Accommodates less than half of the residence in the park, which is illegal!

CHRIS A. NEVER RENT…read moreFROM HERE: Unless you do NOT mind throwing your money away! Your utilities from the hall way lights, heat, air conditioner, party room, fitness room, etc. is also included in your apartment utilities, YES! You are paying Neon's electricity, including your own! The deals to stay there to sign another lease is one sided, either you sing again, or else....Yep, we never got our $600.00 altogether cat fee and two people also signing a damage fees. They never gave us a check out sheet, on what to clean, and they never said anything to us after move out. BUT, then later we get a letter that we owe more money for damages....WHAT!?!? Peoples dogs bark in the middle of the night, pot smoking on every floor, paper thin walls, and you can hear people talking underneath you, or next to you. THE WORST PART: About 4 years ago, someone at Neon was hiding a bunch of Somalian gangs, and one day in the afternoon, on a Saturday, there was 7 police cars surrounding the apartment complex with their guns out, and pointing at about 10 of them crooks. Made them go to the ground with their hands behind their heads, and escorted to the police cars and were arrested, put in jail. Again, the apartment complex never told any of the tenants a thing, what the hell was going on....I think they were covering it all up because of all the WOKE SHIT going on, and way to embarrassed allowing that many criminals to live in the building without a background check!!!! THE POLICE were also called a lot because of all the theft, loud people after 10PM., and sometimes the police would park in the parking lot, waiting for someone again, and again. NEVER felt safe living there to be honest....I'm in my mid fifties now, and live in a retired home, so much quieter, cheaper, and people are a little better on the more friendly side as well!!!!

When we first moved in, I requested to have a icemaker changed out in my freezer and they said that they had one on order and they were gonna fix it the following week nope I never got an icemaker, all I got where scratches on the floor from the maitnence guy moving the fridge!! The smells in the hallways are disgusting. I don't know if there's no ventilation system, but you can literally smell everyone smell. If you're napping and don't answer the door for maintenance, they will just enter. How is this legal???? The pool is disgusting!!! I literally watched a girl pull a CONDOM out of the water!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are kids swimming in it everyday!! So nasty!! I have moved out of neon apartments now and have received $13 deposit returned to me because I wasn't able to clean the hard water spots off my sinks!!!! I was supposed to get over $500 deposit back and to receive only $13 for not cleaning my sinks it's ridiculous!! After I called complaining they told me "I could've requested a walk thru" to not get charged!!! "It is possible to get the hard water spots off, there's cleaners out there" Do not move here!! It's a scam! Reach out to me with questions!! Glad to answer any about this nasty place!!

My home is in Plymouth, MN…read more All developments are hired out to lowest bidding subcontractors with zero craftmanship or attention to detail. Cheapest materials possible are used and D.R. does not care to make things right once you're in the home. We bought this home in March 2020. Where do I begin? -Kitchen cabinets are made of fake wood and are not even constructed correctly. Doors screwed in the wrong place and gaps all over. -Vinyl flooring is installed without proper sealing. If we have a spill and do not wipe it up immediately the flooring will bubble. Even worse, we had a coffee spill because the pot was not in place and it all ran off the counter, under the dishwasher. The area under and around the dishwasher was not sealed off properly so the coffee ran through the floor down to an unfinished bedroom down the concrete wall and pooled on the concrete floor. The floor under the dishwasher is rotten and needs to be torn out. -Caulk is the lowest quality and is already peeling off of every surface it was used on, if it is not gone already. Every area with caulk was done very sloppily without any care. -Unfinished bedroom has caulk instead of silicone sealant around the window frame. The caulk is still wet 2 years later and is serving no purpose except making a mess. Spray foam insulation was also used and sloppily applied leaving chunks sticking out all over. -Countless gaps in the trim all over the house. No care in making it line up or look nice whatsoever. -Vent openings look like they were cut by a child using a saw for the first time. -Builder grade carpet. Carpet is already completely worn in common areas. Will not last longer than 5 years. -Builder grade paint. Any fingerprint, smudge, splash, etc. will require you to paint over the area. You cannot wash the walls. -Drywall in the ceilings is installed incorrectly. It does not run with the studs so inevitably cracks will show in finished ceilings where the sheetrock is not being supported by studs. -Unfinished bedroom floor is 1" lower than the rest of the room in 1 corner. -Framing for unfinished bedroom was done incorrectly resulting in a complete rebuild of the room to make the walls true and ceiling level. -5th bedroom should have only required 1 wall to be framed prior to finishing. Our contractor had to frame 3 walls to fix subpar work by D.R. and this additional work is $5k out of our pocket. -Windows are the cheapest possible. Leak air and show condensation. -Unfinished bedroom/bathroom/utility room ceiling drywall is cut and pieced together with gaps, chunks missing, pieces drooping. This will all need to be replaced on our dime. -Lumber used to frame unfinished areas has chunks missing, splintering, and partial pieces that should have been thrown away. A couple of 2x4s also have several exposed nails pounded through them. -Some short walls (i.e. a pantry wall) are built at an angle and this is visible to the naked eye. -Have already had to replace wheels on one garage door because they were falling off. I reference the unfinished areas because those are the areas we can physically see. I assume the rest of the house is built the same way but is covered by finished walls. Now that we are finishing this area and I have another contractor peeling all of these issues apart we are, of course, well past our 1-year warranty for most of this and D.R. has no integrity to even look at it or work with me. We are stuck in a place where we spent a lot of money on what is supposed to be a perfect new home and will be spending several 10s of thousands more dollars to correct their shoddy work. I cannot sell this home and move fast enough.

I spent 9 months living there and it was a beautiful unit, The amenities are awesome a nice lobby,…read morepool, workoutI was one of the first tenants. It did not start out great; first the elevators broke as we were moving in therefore our move was more costly, since we paid by the hour. Then a day later our master bathroom and part of our bedroom was flooded with raw sewage, yes raw sewage, for our troubles we received $1000 dollars off our rent. That was barely enough to cover our hotel and extra move but not really enough to compensate for the aggravation. I had to grin and bear it even though it took me several weeks, mentally, to wipe the image of a poop covered bathroom and shower out of my mind. I asked for more but it was ignored. Then, I was charged a pet fee even though my dog did not live there for the first 3 months, and my husband transferred to Atlanta 1 month into our stay and I was told that I would have to continue to pay for his parking space. Finally there was the noisy upstairs neighbors, most nights after a long day at work I just wanted to get home and relax, but no they were a 'large extended family and someone was always up. I just wanted peace and quiet. The managements solution was that I knock on their door and tell them to be more quiet. That is not a wise move in these days of people harming others over less. When I told them no; they did send them some emails them about it, and they claimed that the replies were apologetic; Still actions speak louder than words the running, pounding, hammering, and shouting continued unabated. It did have one good consequence, neighbor above them and I did bond over the shared aggravation, so I do give them kudos for making me a new lifelong friend, no matter what the source; even though I have moved that friendship stands!
