The forms were minimal but comprehensive and I appreciated the low environmental impact of their intake forms. Michele was very friendly and very helpful with breaking down how my insurance is used. Paula was my next contact, she got me hooked up with x-rays and ready for my cleaning. Paula was friendly and engaging. I always get anxious going into the dentist, so having friendly staff goes a long way with me as it eases my anxiety. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Austin Erler. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I have never had a dentist explain and educate me in the way he did. I see a bright future for this office with dentist like Dr. Austin Erler involved. To book end my experience...Tracey...the hygienist...probably the most joyful person there! She was great! She was soooo good I felt guilty for eating after my appointment...my teeth felt so amazing! I have used Cornerstone for several years for my interim cleaning. However, after their unprofessional treatment this year, I am done with them! Last summer, their hygienist told me that I needed a "deep cleaning", because I had gum disease. She stated that this deep-cleaning would require several one-hour visits to complete, costing several hundred dollars! I refused. And when I had my regular Phoenix dentist examine me later, he told me that my gums were fine, and that I had no need for a deep-cleaning. This year, I had made a regular teeth cleaning appointment four months ago with Cornerstone. Two days before my appointment, a hygienist called me to inform me that she would only do the teeth cleaning if I had a full set of X-Rays prior to the cleaning! I found another dentist. So I called after reading so many positive reviews on yelp, expecting to be turned down, especially after they told me the hygienists are booked out into December. But I explained my situation and they told me to come in the next day(!) so Dr. Felton could check it out and advise me. So I show up the next day (15 minutes late even) and they still took me! I should stop here and say how wonderful every staff member I interacted with was. The front desk person, the dental tech, Dr Felton, all amazing. And the office is big but beautifully appointed and they have all the most current technology and the equipment that it comes with. They can even make crowns on-site and no impressions! They digitally scan my mouth and then fabricate the crown right there! So in 3 days I go in in the morning and walk out in a few hours with a brand new crown. Omg, how I wish I could find a dental practice this good back in Northern California, but I'm still looking. And if you're freaked out about being in the dental chair I can't imaging a better place to go and have your nerves calmed down. This practice is top shelf all the way.
