The selection is good, just not great mainly because the store itself is probably about 800 ft.². The aisles towards the back are very narrow and it's easy to knock something off the shelf. They have plenty of liquor singles, and even a small cigar humidor. They keep the good stuff behind the counter, but they don't have many choices on the high-end side. The prices here are a little higher than the big box retailers, but not overly so. Informative photos and video included.

The Texan's mains are perfectly lovely so long as you don't eat so much that you can't have pie. There is nothing like the Texan Cafe in Austin itself. Jack Allen's they have in Austin itself. * * * But if you can tear yourself away from the Texan Cafe, And you can get yourself while in Hutto to go to Jack Allen's, You will come out happy. If you don't, you are way too fussy.. * * * Jack Allen's is good times.
