I have used this kennel several times and have never had a problem. She has actually called me while we were on vacation and she had our 3 dogs because she was having a problem with one of our dogs coming back in and she wanted suggestions on what to do. I am also shocked at the previous review. The only thing I can say and I hope this doesn't make Ms. Diane mad, but she is a YANKEE!!! LOL You just got to know how to take her "TONE'. Ms. Diane is the best. She has watched our Roxie many times and her care is excellent. She is attentive and careful with our dog. She has been very accommodating and always fair to us. The owner is extremely rude and self righteous. She seems to feel entitled to demean her paying customers. She and i exchanged words after I refused to let her talk down to me. I had to ask for my 2 labs that she was boarding about 6-7 times before she finally quit griping and complaining at me. She stormed to the back of the kennel, swung the door open very hard on her way back with my dogs on their leashes. She then threw the leashes at me and said "have a nice day". I was at the counter waiting for my dogs when she threw the leashes, the outside door was open. What happens next, both labs run out the door, running wild in the yard and excited! How dare she put my dogs in danger!? She lives on a major highway. They could've gotten ran over, ran off or anything! She also wanted me to pay an extra $25 late fee because I was 7 minutes late picking them up BUT only she asked me to pay after I had already written the check, got an invoice from her with the amount I paid, and only after she got angry at me and couldn't hold her temper. I told her I didn't have another check to rewrite. She asked for cash or credit card. That's when I told her she was wrong and demanded my dogs for the last time. She's extremely anal and has a huge chip on her shoulder. Only when I started throwing around our job titles and involvement in the community did she finally shut up. Guess she thought she was just dealing with a regular ole Joe. She made a mistake on scheduling our dogs for boarding and blamed my husband for giving her the wrong dates. What ever happened to the customer is always right motto? Stay away unless you want to kiss her behind, apologize for HER mistakes, feel demeaned PLUS pay her for a service where she ends up endangering my dogs lives. Beware! read more
