I find the red light therapy especially helpful in providing benefit. I always leave feeling energized, relaxed and lighter. As someone with over 40 years of experience in the healing arts as a massage therapist and yoga teacher, I have never encountered such a lack of professionalism and compassion in a healing arts center. The owner Cait has repeatedly treated me with impatience, abruptness and disregard as I struggle as a frail senior citizen with Lyme disease, Babesia, and Anaplasma following a tick bite. Cait, who states herself as a Lyme specialist selling Lyme disease herbs, should understand the toll these illnesses take, but her interactions were consistently lacking in empathy. I will not be returning to this business. All I say here is the truth. I used the Red Light and Hot Sauna for my frail health conditions, but throughout my visits, the owner's behavior was consistently abrasive, I was repeatedly made to feel uncomfortable, disrespected, and dismissed. As someone who has worked in the healing arts for decades, I have never encountered such a hostile atmosphere of strict, stern policies that make the environment sterile and not conducive to healing. I believe the owner's conduct not only violates basic standards of customer care but also undermines the healing environment she claims to promote. I hear loud opening and closing of doors and the owner's loud voice in conversation in the center as I try to relax in the hot sauna and if I mention my discomfort with anything, I am discounted. When I asked the owner not to bang on the door immediately at the end of a red light service as it is not needed, startles me and raises my blood pressure, I am badgered with "policies and procedures" rushing me out the door after a service, when there is no one ever in line waiting. My kind request was not met with compassion in my frail condition, nor do I ever over stay in any treatment room requiring a banging on the door to leave. Cait's "policies and procedures" are sternly delivered and not typical of what I have encountered in a 40 year involvement in the healing arts and border on elder abuse. I was even insulted when shockingly told that my warm friendly Southern personality was fake, as I was exiting a 200 degree one hour hot sauna, causing me to quickly and dangerously leave in fright, without proper hydration which finally prompted this review. As a frail senior citizen, I left with higher blood pressure than when I arrived repeatedly due to a hostile atmosphere where there is no oversight. The owner operates with zero staff so there are no witnesses to her abuse. I have never encountered anything like this in my 40 years experience in the healing arts.
