The entire massage felt like a waste of time, and I could not wait for it to end. I tried to explain what I needed, but she didn't understand anything I said. The owner (man) did offer me a free session, which I appreciate, but I live two hours away and can't return. Overall, this place should not advertise real massage services if the quality is this poor. I left frustrated and disappointed. If you absolutely must go here, ask for the man (not the woman).

Had a visit with Karden a few weeks ago for persistent knee and foot pain…read more I did not get help with either, instead the visit went in an unusual way. Karden explained that in his opinion many chronic aches and pains were tied to unresolved past trauma. Here's the thing: I'm sure there something to what he's saying and Karden and he feels very strongly about this because he has experienced it for himself. Perhaps a deep dive in past trauma gains relief for some folks with chronic pain. After feeling my knee and foot he declared that there was nothing wrong with either. After leaving his office the pain continued. Thankfully was able to visit my former PT at Berkshire Physical Therapy and Wellness where I would have gone first had I been able to get an earlier appointment. My knee healed on its but was aggravated and as for my foot, it is a mechanical issue based on the way of walk plus recent weight gain that exacerbated it. The PT offered me clear cut ways to help resolve the issues and they are working! I think Karden means well but now that he's a "believer" in past trauma he seems to view other people's problems through the same lense, and in my case completely missed the mark. It's too bad because it was an extremely expensive visit and I feel it was money wasted. I would strongly hesitate to recommend this place.

To my surprise, he was so kind to offer coming to my location with the equipment needed to conduct the session. I'm super grateful he offered me this convenience as well as glad that I was trusting and open to receive this accommodation. Like anything, it takes a moment for the mind to relax and come into the body fully. It was not long before Dave was able to use his skills and experience to tackle a deep ancient knot that was located in my left shoulder that I was honestly unaware existed before he was able to get it out and noticed a huge difference. From my toes to my head, I felt an overall deep relaxation and calmness that he was able to achieve through his focus and attention. I highly recommend booking sessions with Dave. FINALLY! I've been looking for a soft tissue manipulator for years and can't recommend Dave Halley…read moreenough. I've suffered for years with shoulder and elbow issues from skiing, golfing and complete overuse of my forearm/shoulder in various home renovation projects over the years - decades in fact. I had been to many massage therapists, physical therapists, osteopaths, etc. over the years and have had cortisone and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections in both my shoulder and elbow - all without any meaningful or lasting results. Dave's approach is to go right to the source of pain/discomfort and has provided me with some exercises to compliment his treatments. He is very professional and for those that are squeamish about massage/soft tissue work, Dave works on his patients with clothes on. If you're looking for a simple rub, Dave's not your guy. But if you believe you have deep structural issues/injuries/scar tissue/knots, I'd recommend you give him a try. I still have some treatments to go, but Dave's work thus far has allowed me to sleep on my right side/shoulder without me waking up. This has been a very welcome change indeed! Dave has been flexible to meet me at my home and other locations to provide his services. Highly recommended.

She made some key adjustments that really aligned with my needs and also took time to explain some of the concerns I had. I would absolutely give her a full 5-star rating- way to go, Kelty! Additionally, I had a conversation with Tim couple days ago who was my reservation agent. Tim went above an beyond-he helped me arrange payment for my package, showed a lot of care, and even spoke with his supervisor to ensure my concerns were met. Probably the most disappointing part of the day was the food. For what I paid for the day, everything on the menu should have been EXCELLENT. It was not. Honestly, I wasn't drawn to any of the entrees, so I just ordered a bunch of the appetizers as my meal. They weren't that good, to be honest. The crab cake did not have Maryland crab in it (I'm from Maryland, and that's the only way to make a proper crab cake!), and the tabouleh was just quinoa. You could easily take the money you would spend on a day pass and treat yourself to a facial/massage, yoga class, and nice meal for less money and have a better experience.
