I spent $200 here, found some cute things. They have great stuff and a cute "husband waiting area". The two stars is the service. We travel all over the country...in small resort towns/communities like this you get one of two experiences 1) they make you feel welcome, like you live there...and it makes you want to live there! Or 2) You are a tourist and we can't be bothered. Two of the employees, a tall older lady...and a younger gal stood in the middle of the clothing section complaining about how crowded the store was, and how they couldn't wait for the sale to be over. Ummmm what? There were four of us shoppers (didn't know one another) all looking at one another like "They can see us right?" Another gal had questions about some art on the wall, and she could not get anyone to help her. I had 10 items to try on, you can only take 5 in...so while I was trying on the first 5, the sales woman kept apologizing to those waiting saying "she has a lot of stuff, so sorry" Sooo I didn't try on the other five. Bought three of the first 5 and felt very rushed. Bottom line I think the locals and their family/friends keep them busy enough, so no need to worry about the tourists. That's the vibe. The sales team needs to be a little more aware that we are in the store for an experience, not because we have nowhere else to shop. read more

Wow - just - Wow! What a fun store. I literally was there for an hour because I wanted to see everything in the store. They have such unique finds, what a gem. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The store was clean, nothing was out of place. They have items for home, clothing, shoes, jewlery, self care ( jawdropping capri blue line and Inis line) beach, and so on. See my pics for more details. The cost is moderate. I bought jewlery and clothing, very unique. They have 2 dressing rooms to try on. They may have additional items in the back if you do not see your size, just ask. I highly recommend as a go to spot at the island. They are starting a website too. read more

Loved this store! The only thing that would make it better would be if I could be shopping with my actual "twisted" sister! They have adorable and unique gift items and an area called "Twisted Kidz" with cute stuffed animals, creative toys, and clothes for children. My favorite area was the women's department; really nice and lots of cute clothes that you won't find anywhere else. (Because who wants to see themselves coming & going everywhere they look?). My favorite area, and the place where I found my treasures, was the 50% off clothing rack, so even my husband can't complain about my shopping too much. I found the service to be exceptional and I was there on a busy holiday weekend. The saleswoman who helped me initially actually went around the store to locate my husband for me because I wanted to show him some things. She also found me another size & brought my purchase to the register for me. The young girl at the wrap stand was genuinely friendly & courteous as well. (I spent under $50 and I still felt like I was treated like I was a big customer.). I don't live in the area; but next time I'm in Amelia Island, I'll definitely be back! read more

We parked the car across the street and my sister says right away- Ohhh- Twisted Sister, that looks fun! Oh it is, I've been in, numerous times. We put our name in for the restaurant and went right back. I always chuckle coming through the entrance with the "husband day care" seating. Which was completely full! But not with men. Inside is a treasure trove of great home décor items, fun clothing, delicate jewelry and more! And the store is huge! It always seems busy when I pop in~ and this day was no different. Because the store is big and has tables of displays, you can wind you way through without bumping into anyone. Go around tables where others are browsing and still see plenty! I am always drawn to the house wares side of things. I love the artsy items and have to restrain myself greatly from not spending hundreds of dollars here! Yes- they have that much that I would buy. Luckily- I have limited purchases here to gifts. That makes for easier shopping. Go explore and have fun in this downtown Fernandina store! read more

Very bad customer service! I went in to return two items only to be told sale items were final sales. When I said were no signs posted saying this, nor was told this during my purchase, I was shown a very small sign beside the register, hidden by several other items stating their return policy. The ladies did nothing but handed me my bag back! I would have gladly taken store credit but they wouldn't work with me at all!! They just lost a local customer!! read more

Lovely shop on the Main Street in Fernandina Beach. To be honest it is a woman's shop and since they know it too ......they have an area right up front called Men's Day Care! It has two comfortable chairs in front of a tv with the sports channel on! All us women need is a credit card from them anyway! Lol. The shop have lots of unique kitchen items, household decor, cute, cute seasonal thing (soft Easter's bunnies), candles, unique jewelry and comfortable clothes for woman. I'm new to the area. Spotted a top on the outside clearance rack. made a quick purchase as I was in a hurry. of course, it didn't fit and within a few hours went to return it. The clerk advised it was store policy not to accept returns on 50% clearance. It was not posted on the rack outside, sale sign in the window did not indicate final on sale items, and I did not see a clearly posted sign at the register. Sales receipt was also not stamped final sale. I told the clerk this and she simply said it was store policy. Apparently it is poor business policy. Unless the item is clearly marked no returns, store clerk should have refunded my money. My mistake was not taking photos of her sale signs. I won't be returning read more

I had a great time exploring this store. It's located in the awesome Historic District with unique shop after shop! Right in the entry-way they have chairs set up and sports on TV which I thought was brilliant. There was a sign that said "Husband Day Care" which I though was hilarious. The shop is packed with stuff that ladies would love to take their time looking at so I can see this being really effective for the business. I would say that the store isn't very kid friendly since everything is packed in tight and kids tend to want to run around. The ladies working inside were very nice, just like everyone in this town! Things were a little pricey but you could tell the quality was high. They has some really gorgeous bags and luggage too. There was so much that caught my eye and I am still sure there was so much I didn't see. The stores close rather early, so be sure to call if you plan to go any time after 4:30pm. I can't wait to go back the next time I am in town. read more

Ladies will love this as a place to find gifts and clothes. They have some home wall decor type things along with lots of candles, a few kitchen items (decorative functional dishes, etc.) and knick-knacks. There's a baby/child section but kids won't find it exciting as it's really just decor for a kid's room. And some socks. I'd describe the clothes as 'beach summery' with about 15 racks full of stuff and more on the walls. There's also some jewelry. Overall prices seem pretty good given its kind of a touristy town. read more

Cute store with a range of cute items to select from. While we there however we were made to feel uncomfortable because I had a cup of coffee and my daughter had a cup of ice cream. We were told they don't allow outside food in the store, especially near the clothing. This seems to be common among the clothing stores in this area. Tip to the owners of the store which happens to be in a touristy town, don't be so rigid. This is why brick and mortar stores are going out of business. I am sure you have had incidents where a mess has been made but come on, those are few and far between. You could get a lot more sales and business by being more open and not imposing strict rules. My mother and I waited up at the register for about 5 minutes to purchase a gift while the 3 ladies working there did not even acknowledge us and we're yelping and bitching about some item, right infront of their customers!! We left the store and left our items on the resister area and didn't get any acknowledgement what so ever! Terrible service, won't return that's for sure! read more

This store has a lot of cute things (expensive though!) but the service, or lack thereof, made me leave the store empty handed. There were at least 3 people working in the store when I went in on Friday and there was only one person at the register. The other two were off in the corner talking about ordering lunch. None of them offered any kind of assistance to their potential customers and I guess greeting patrons is a lost art form because they never greeted anyone either. read more
