The name was confusing to me. I thought it was a maritime navigation related business. We asked other retailers for recommendations on running attire and they did not mention this store. So I believe the store is not well known in the community. If you are in FB or Amelia, it is definitely worth shopping here to get whatever you forgot from back home. This was the only place we could find good running shorts in the area.

I was briefly greeted when I walked in, but the woman was on the phone (sounded like a personal call) and she didn't pay any attention to me during my browsing. I found shoes I was interested in, but they didn't have the color I wanted in my size. Turns out- that line, some of the colors are discontinued. I googled while in the store hoping to find them. I was tempted by several pieces of clothing, but even a second custom came and and got the same bland greeting and then the woman vanished to the back office? From shirts to shoes to hats to home decor and more, the Red Otter is our new favorite shop! They have all sorts of brands for men and women, like Southern Tide. We bought two pairs of the On Cloud shoes, a fabulous nautical belt by Southern Tide, and a candle by South that smells divine! Not only did we have fun, but the ladies in the shop were so friendly and warm that we probably spent 45 minutes in there having a great time socializing. I've already got my eye on another belt, another pair of shoes, a T-shirt, two Oxfords, and a coffee tray! We simply cannot wait to return. Indubitably 5 stars!

When you walk in they greet you immediately. The employees are all helpful and friendly in fact they're somewhat too friendly and helpful because they keep on asking you if you need help. They have men's shoes, women shoes and a children's shoes all the way down to tiny toddlers. This particular store always seems very clean to me and it's in a nice location here by the airport where it's pretty safe. I think this is a decent place to get kids school shoes and the occasional sneakers.

I understand as a cashier it is not always the duty to handle the whole store but you are the last impression a customer has before they leave. The item we purchased not only rang up incorrectly than they price marked but when I let her know that the area was in disarray her response was...." I know I have seen it". She was pleasent but that doesn't fix my impression of a place I am spending my money at.
