I had an excellent experience with Two Maids of Savannah for my initial deep clean. Casey and Selina arrived on the early side of their estimated arrival window, which I really appreciated. I gave them a quick walkthrough of my apartment, and from the start I knew I was in great hands. I have progressive rheumatoid arthritis, which has made it very difficult for me to do tasks like bending for long periods or even gripping a vacuum long enough to clean my 2-bedroom apartment. Coming home a few hours later after their completion text, I was honestly blown away by the results. Everything looked fantastic, and I felt such relief and gratitude for the hard work they put in. I also want to recognize their manager, Delisa, who has been in communication with me throughout the process and made everything simple and stress-free. She has been incredibly helpful. This is a hard review to write. Because there are really two entities involved with this business. Which was unbenounced to me. Let me explain. We reached out and hired Two Maids and a Mop. Understanding that it is a franchise operation. Not a problem at all. The two women who did the work were very pleasant and thorough and worked hard. I would give them a B+ grade. The fee was pretty steep at $400 pre tip for a whole house cleaning, but we wanted an industrial level cleaning done. I understood some of that was the fee the franchisor takes from the job. What I did not expect, and what I think is a very very sleazy and underhanded is the way the franchisor manages the finances with their franchisee workers. Let me explain. I received a survey today for the work done. Not just any survey mind you. This one explained my rating of these women was directly tied to their ACTUAL COMPENSATION! In other words their take of the $400 was put back on me the customer. The franchisor got to keep a sliding scale of profit and the lady's take was up to me. I would never received any money back if I was not satisfied. The franchisor only got to keep more of the $400 I paid. I have never heard of a business structure like this, and I will in no way ever support this franchisor; Two Maids and a Mop. I just feel badly for the two woman. read more

My husband and I were moving out of a rental house about 1,500 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 and a half baths. We needed a deep clean to ensure we get our rather large security deposit back from the company we rented from so I decided to book Two Maids. They were in the house cleaning for several hours and we were so relieved we didn't have to think about this part of the move out process. We were so disappointed when we returned to see our house had areas completely ignored and still dirty including the baseboards, a wall by our fridge, doors, walls, on top of valances, etc. I am so upset to have spent $290 for a job I could have done better myself. By far the best cleaning service i have EVER had!! Jessica and her partner are ALWAYS so professional! I request her every time, and I accidentally forgot that theey were scheduled and left my house a total mess, dishes filled in the sink.. kid toys all over the place lol and they even did all of my dishes for me!! I noticed they made My bees and even folded mY clothes that were just thrown on the bed! I walked into my house feeling so relaxed and such a breath of fresh air with a clean home! They change out the trash aNd even took my trash out to my community dumpster for me! I would highly Kylie recon men's them to anyone, they really are the best of the best! I would also request Jessica! She is such a sweet girl and takes her job seriously !! :) I have then scheduled to come every three weeks and it is such a help! After several cleanings, one of which was a deep cleaning, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I am receiving. I have pictures to show my house is not being cleaned. 2 girls show up at my house at 9:30 and are loading their car and gone by 10:30 I come home and all I can see is that a vacuum has been ran over the runner rugs and some light dusting has been done, that's not the service that I'm paying for. they're supposed to be bathroom cleaning and sanitizing, mopping, all kinds of different things are on the list of itms that are supposed to be being done and they're not. I want my house key returned....no need to return to my residence. Poor poor service... read more

When hiring house cleaning services, handymen, plumbers, electricians, etc I try to stay away from companies like Two Maids because they're usually franchises or satellite branches with 'managers' and not too much real actual concern for doing a good job... I'm sorry to say Two Maids was no exception. ... but hey, at least they answered the phone, and could come on the day I needed. Its not that the cleaning was that bad, it's that I had to follow behind the ladies and ask them to re-clean areas or simply clean areas they just didn't do. In their defense though, since some customers dont like folks steppping on the side of a bathtub they just don't typically clean windows above tubs. Anyhow, having to follow around after a cleaning crew to check their work is frustrating, irritating and makes things awkward. Nobody likes that. Now, since we were having a deep clean done prior to a move-out I assumed they would have cleaned behind kitchen appliances. I was wong. They won't move appliances to clean behind them.  It said so in the packet they emailed me. I guess I should have made time to read the packet ahead of time so I could be a well-prepared cleaning teammate.  Instead I pinned my hopes on receiving a diligent conscientious cleaning crew... one that might have said something like: "hey I'm not sure if you know this or not, but we can't move the appliances, but if you move them we will be happy to clean behind there". Instead, that conversation went like this (when I walked out to their car, as they we're about to drive away) Me, "Hey dont you clean under appliances as part of a deep clean?" Needed a last minute "move-in" clean. Called and was quickly scheduled for 8:30 the next day. Bella and Traniece arrived on time in professional attire with all their supplies. After a few hours my home was SPOTLESS and smelling good! Highly recommend! read more

I had a remodel done on my home and called Two Maids and explained I wanted a after construction cleaning. There were no pics on the walls or Knick knacks out all packed away. I wanted EVERYTHING wiped down of dust. She called it a deep cleaning and charged me $369. I was out of state at the time. When I retuned, I couldn't believe it!! They never touched the ceiling fans, most of the furniture, baseboards and so many other things. They were only here 2 hours for a 3 bdrm 2 bath house. When they called to tell me they were done I went over everything I wanted done and got "yes" on everything. When I got home I called the office she resent the same 2 workers they had an attiude stayed 30 minutes. I called many times for a refund/credit and got a runaround. Then she screened my calls and didn't answer. I told her I would post neg reviews and contact the BBB she couldn't care less. I had to pay someone else to come in for $250 she was here 4hrs and did a fantastic job! DO NOT use this company! Hopefully the BBB can get me a refund. read more

I have been using this service for several months and have given them second and third chances. They are pricier than a lot of the other companies, which we wouldn't mind paying if they were good. However, it's a revolving door of staff, so there's no consistency and almost every time they come, I've had to take time out of my work day to "train" them. The biggest problem? They doc the WORKERS money if a client isn't happy. So of course no one stays. They also don't supply them with decent supplies. They use one of those shammy rags to mop a floor. Anything stuck on stays stuck on and it just smears everything around. And don't get me started on the vacuum. I've watched them vacuum the floors-the cleaners do the work, but the vacuum does not. The office manager makes flat apologies and nothing changes. Oh, and they used to leave fresh cookies-a nice touch and a smile after the hassle. They stopped that too. Time was, Two Maids and Mop did a good job. Now they seem to have lost their edge. Today we fired them because 2 hours late they said they would be coming any minute then never showed. So I don't think they are a good choice for cleaning you are home. read more

I was told when I booked the service that the ladies would be at my house around 8:30-9 and that it was $139. I got no answer when I called & texted about whether or not they found my house okay. I then got a call around 1 saying they're about to be here (which was fine, I didn't really mind what time they'd come). I have cameras in my house and once they got there I heard over the camera that I didn't leave the correct amount of money so they called their boss and she said she would call me but to clean anyways, once she got of the phone she said "well where the hell is the rest of our money" I thought that was extremely rude. The boss ended up calling me and telling me I didn't pay enough and that the ladies were at my house. I mentioned that they were supposed to come around 9 and that I was told it was only $139, she then preceded to tell me that was not correct and I was told they'd come at 2 and technically they're earlier since they came around 1 & that they don't offer a service for $139, it is only $149. I could have misunderstood the lady I talked to before when booking but I am certain I did not. I was very displeased when I came home to what I thought looked like a clean house but when looking further into everything it was not. I was very unimpressed w/ my cleaning service, there was multiple things that weren't done at all or only half ass done. My dishes were washed, but we're not clean.. there was food and resin still left on them. My floors were not swept, mopped, nor vacuumed. There was a dirty towel laying on my bathroom floor, that was not there before. There was multiple pieces of furniture not dusted. The window sills we're not cleaned. My microwave did not get cleaned, nor outside of my stove, nor the exterior of my trash can. My countertops were sticky. The doors weren't cleaned and there was also one of the ladies hair net in my driveway. I also looked back at the service list they provide on their website to make sure what they we're supposed to clean and what they do not offer. I highly do not recommend. read more

I called their office after seeing an ad on Facebook. DeLisha was great ; very patient explained everything. Got the premium cleaning service and at first they sent 3 employees to clean approx 2800 sq. Feet home. These employees while very friendly didn't clean to my satisfaction - overlooked some items & missed others. I accept some responsibility because I didn't check things out before they left. Sent email that I was unhappy and things were overlooked. DeLisha was very concerned, apologetic, and said that wasn't acceptable . She showed true customer service and sent 2 new people out to re-clean the very next day. I only wanted the areas missed cleaned- Sam and Mamie were very helpful and professional. Went above and beyond and re leaned whole house. read more

Unacceptable...I've hired other Maid services to clean my house before, no problems. Two Maids and a mop refused to clean my house because it wasn't already cleaned... TWICE... They told me to clean up the dirt in the corners and reschedule. I offered to clean it up right then and there but they simply refused. It looks like they don't want to do what they were hired for... i.e. cleaning my house!!! They insulted me on top of refusing to do the job... horrible service. Like I've said, I've used Merry Maids and Molly Maids and never been so insulted. Keep away from Two Maids and a Mop. read more
