I did not use the service, someone else in the building had hired them. They had their truck parked directly in front of 3 to 4 garage doors. When I lifted my garage door to leave for a scheduled appointment the box of the truck was right there. When we asked them to move, the women proceeded to make it well known she was not happy. She was obviously not happy we asked her to move her truck. One of them even suggested they only had one or two more items to move. My appointment was at least a 45 minute drive and we needed to leave. We pointed out she was parked in the wrong location and was going the wrong way in a one way drive for 22 garages. There are signs for no parking and one way, but they appeared to ignored them, probably to make their job easier. All they needed to do was move the truck so we could leave versus an argument breaking out with two seniors. Two Men and a truck moved us from Kitchener to Waterloo on Jan 23 2006. Two trucks, 6 movers (one woman!). I highly recommend them. Efficient, friendly, and worked non-stop. Careful with our items and willing to take decor and pictures not in boxes. They packed and taped things to ensure no breakage. There were no extra nor hidden fees. In fact, our final total was $700 less than quoted because the move was quicker than the quoted hours. Recommend you offer a lunch (I served Vincenzo's sandwiches) and give a generous tip, The crew was amazing. I have told my realtor to recommend them to her clients. read more

Charged $1300 for 3 hours of work. They were given a full list of items up front and quoted 6.5 hours - clearly their quote was wildly off. Totally unprofessional - could have been up front to say this should take a few hours, our minimum is 6. Will never be using again or recommending. read more

Don't waste your time with this company. After initial enquiries in early June I called back on June 8/21 spoke to Alysha saying I wanted to move forward with them and get a quote. She E-mailed me a PDF they have which is a detailed list you fill out of what they will be moving. I completed this PDF in detail on June 8 and E-mailed back to them that evening, advising I would be available to talk with them on June 9 or 11th. On June 11 in the afternoon I called the Cambridge office to confirm they had received my Email with the completed PDF. I was told they had that somebody was actually working on the quote as we spoke and they would get back to me when the quote was completed. It's June 28 and I'm still waiting for that quote!! Obviously I have booked our move with a competitor who actually wanted our business. read more

The crew showed up and did not have masks or floor protection. Smoking right outside the door around our newborn baby and 1 year old. Marked up the brand new front door. Damaged multiple items. Things get damaged by accident but they were visibly rough with items. Somehow lost a single 100lb dumbbell so we are left with only one of two now. When we called about this there is nothing we can do. We have been told it is likely in a box. We have been through all boxes and even been back to our old house to double check. Crew constantly swearing around our kids. Caught one of the crew throwing some of our belongings. No wonder we had lots of damage. After our 3 hour drive to our new house my wife needed to put our baby down to sleep. She laid out a mattress in a bedroom that was packed with boxes and let the crew know a baby was sleeping in the room. They groaned and complained because they couldn't go in that bedroom now. If I could give zero stars I would. This move was made stressful by the movers and cost us thousands in damaged items. read more

Still waiting for someone to get back to me about the damage to my home almost 2 months ago. The office staff seem to be pretty incompetent when dealing with these things and no one has even come out to see what's happened. Actually, no one has even returned my calls or emails. Moving is stressful enough, and you want to get through it and then forget it. But two months later, I'm still sending out emails which are being ignored. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. These guys have a good sales pitch; telling you they will wrap your furniture and artwork to avoid damage, but when they damage your belongings and even break things, they won't take responsibility and make lots of excuses. Don't waste you money; hire someone else! read more

Moved with this company over the summer and would NOT recommend. The movers were not careful with my property (items weren't wrapped before being loaded as we were told they would be, clearly marked boxes were upside down, etc.). This resulted in broken items and badly scratched furniture. The company tried to right things by having Jackson come out to do repairs (after I managed to track sometime down on the phone). Paint wasn't matched correctly and now I have mismatched furniture. Jackson said he'd mail out a gift card to a home store as an apology for all the trouble and 2 months later he hasn't even followed through on that. Not very happy with the service, truck showed up flooded with damaged boxes, everyone blamed everyone else and at the end of the day they charged me a full price for an incomplete service. Due to the flooding on the truck they were not able to move all of my items and I had to incur additional costs to move my items through other methods. The really disappointing factor is that after repeated attempts to contact Two Men and a Truck local office and head office to receive some acknowledgement of what occurred, I have received no feedback or resolution. Very disappointed, I would strongly suggest using a different company for you moving needs. read more

The movers are very nice guys. The office manager Melissa is extremely nice and helpful. Unfortunately, when it comes to compensation for the understandable mishaps that can happen during a move, this company does not stand behind their moto. Very difficult to get ahold of the owner , and when I did he offered subpar compensation for the list of issues. Broken, missing and damaged items should be adequately compensated for. I agreed to a $100 'compensation' after 6 weeks as they were not willing to offer more. I believe a partial refund should have been offered considering the move was not completed to a reasonable satisfaction. I definitely will not be using them for my move later this year, and neither will any of my friends and family that have been watching to see how this was handled. I wish I had asked around prior to booking as everyone i talk to seems to have heard of similar experiences. read more

Originally I would have given them 4 stars on the move, but I am now in to my 3rd month of not hearing back in regards to a damage claim. It's funny how they respond within 24 hours to book your move, but take 3+ months get to get back to you on a damage claim. read more

Hired them to move my family from Puslinch to south of London. They showed up on time, 4 guys, 2 trucks and worked tirelessly for the whole day to get all of our furniture to our new home. The guys took great care of our antiques including the grandfather clock which they were more than happy to double wrap and take extra care of, and the piano that we weren't sure was going to come out of the basement. The men made light work of the heaviest jobs and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for good movers. read more

I am giving this business one star because their customer service is not up to par. I emailed last Friday inquiring about an in-house quote - as my boyfriend and I have two apartments we need moved on the same day in November. I didn't get a reply until Tuesday - and when I did it was an automated reply. I emailed not even 10 minutes later stating once again we were interested in an in-house quote and what times/dates we were available - and which time would be best for the company to come and meet us. I didn't receive a reply for 3-4 days later - so I sent another email to follow up. This time Jackson called me and left a voicemail yesterday- I called him back no later than 15 minutes yesterday morning (Friday) and left a message with the woman who works there. She assured me he would call me right back. Today is Saturday and I am still waiting on a phone call back. I would not recommend this company based on their customer service, and sales leads should not be the ones following up with a company that they are hiring and paying. If you are portraying this kind of "quality" customer service, how would you react when a real issue arises? With this said, there are much better companies out there who will answer you back right away, and luckily for us we have decided to go with another company who answered our emails within an hour each time. You have lost our business, and I will not recommend you to anyone I know. read more

We had considered renting a truck to do our across town move last month, but chose Two Men and a Truck instead; boy am I glad we did. Hiwa and Josh arrived promptly, did a quick assessment, and began loading the truck. Despite torrential rainfall, they worked quickly, did not track dirt through our house and because of the care they took to wrap all our upholstery and wooden furniture in plastic, none of our belongings got any water damage. They worked as an efficient team and finished the job ahead of the estimated schedule. They offered to disassemble and reassemble all of our flat-pack furniture and had all of the tools to help when I couldn't find a large Alan key. They assessed each piece of furniture before loading it. I had to insist that they did not have to worry about blanketing and wrapping a small extremely beaten up table we purchased at a garage sale. All in all we were very pleased with our experience and would recommend Two Men and a Truck to any of our friends without reservation. read more
