IF I COULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS I DEFINITELY WOULD!!! Where do I start??? They came on time. That's about all the positive things I can say about my experience!! They were in out of the house and to the storage unit and cost of the move was acceptable; until I realized all they left behind and couldn't fit on the truck!! I had been working on 3.5 hours sleep in 72 hours!! They did not do a walk through at the end: we had to keep pulling them back to tell them what else needing to be taken. They nearly forgot my deep freezer...they told my husband they had NO MORE room for my shelving units....THEY OBVIOUSLY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PACK A TRUCK!!! When we moved from a two bedroom house to a three bedroom house...our two bedroom house was packed with two appliances and lawn furniture; it was all fit on their truck ten years ago, and it WAS the same size truck!!! We didn't go with the last company because we felt we were ripped off!!! Now were in hindsight kicking ourselves in the backside!! Two Men and a Truck didn't even come out for an estimate!! I did ask for someone to come out for one and was informed they did NO such thing....we did call other companies and had no reply with leaving msgs and those that did come out gave exuberant estimates or just did not reply!!!! With a company that is SUPPOSE TO BE REPUTABLE you would think they would do estimates!! Emmy seemed to be the ONLY professional person to speak with though doesn't listen VERY well!!! Luke couldn't take honest feedback and couldn't even take correction on a past convention not even 24 hours earlier!!! My husband had a professional conversation: yes he raised his voice but NO foul language nor disrespect to him!!! Two Men and a Truck, Like many other reviews as of late, they are shady. While on the phone they quoted me one price and at the end of the day the cost was more than double. The moving company showed up on time and like a previous review about the extent of positive reviews. When the movers showed up they informed me they would not disconnect the washer and dryer. That would have been nice to know before I packed most of my tools. Both employees very quickly informed me they were both convicted felons. They had no sense of urgency and knew they were "on the clock". When it came to driving to my new house. I informed them the GPS would take them to a different location (new subdivision). I gave them directions and they flat out choose to ignore my directions and took nearly 45 minutes longer to get to my new place. Once again could careless they were on the clock. I would highly recommend finding a different moving company, for your next move and as for me, I'm out of luck!!! Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

We have used this company previously and have nothing to say but great things. We recently got a quote and needed movers within 72hours.. Mark was freakin awesome in helping us arrange the move. They took the time to answer alllllll my questions and even gave me great moving tips and tricks in a time crunch. So we've used two men now for over 4 moves to 6 moves, Tempe, ahwatukee, Gilbert, Rancho Cucamonga .ca. Detroit Michigan, Scottsdale and mesa..... .needless to say we trust them. So if you moved at all you'll know that not every move is the same or easy it's been few and far between where we moved and something didn't break even with the big name movers they've broken items the difference being is that two men never not once tried blaming it on us or anyone else. They just came out looked assessed and fixed. One time they broke a family heirloom picture that we will pass down to our baby ... .anywho before we even noticed the guy was like hey I'm keeping the picture and getting it fixed we will bring back out to you.. I have used Two Men and a Truck several times in the last twenty years and they are theeeee BEST!!! We just moved yesterday and the three guys were so polite, efficient and helpful. They even put together a bed headboard that they didn't move. They worked solid the entire 4.5 hours. We forgot our washing machine and dryer and they were so kind in returning to our old house to pick it up. I was more than happy to tip each mover at the end of the day. Horrible experience with them and their affiliate in Tempe! Sent two requests for an estimate with NO response at the beginning of October 2023. Called the Flagstaff office and they claimed an associate in their Tempe office had been assigned the estimate and transferred me to her (Candice Sundstrom) discussed the move and confirmed dates were available for Nov 27. Set up video call for 11:20 am Oct 17. No call from Two Men (Candice Sundstrom) until I received a text at noon 30 minutes after scheduled time had passed with a B.S. excuse to reschedule. Gave them a 2nd chance and did video walk through on 10/20. Was told by Candice Sundstrom move dates were still good and would have estimate 10/20 end of day. Of Course, NO estimate and no communication from Candice until I Got Text on 10/24 with more B.S. excuses and told again I would have estimate end of day 10/24. Of Course NO estimate again. Received text 10/25 from Candice stating they are booked up through December and could not complete my move! So, After all the lack of responsiveness, B.S. excuses, lack of professionalism, common courtesy and human decency for a process that began 23 days ago and twice confirmed availability for move dates and still never got an estimate, I am told they are booked. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH TWO MEN AND A TRUCK IN ALL OF ARIZONA!!! It's all the same franchisee for Flagstaff, Tempe, Mesa and I am sure others. HUGE mistake---don't use this business. I'll try to go in order. When I called about pricing, the person on the phone quoted$180 per hour. When I called back to make the reservation, she had to ask ME what price she had quoted. During the phone assessment of how much stuff we had I explicitly stated the pounds (as weighed by the mover who moved us across the country into storage) and that we had TWO storage units--a 10x20 and a 10x10. She recommended 3 staff and one truck. THEN I got an email requiring me to sign off on NOT accepting a second truck--she never even talked about a second truck or that she thought it would be necessary. Should have been my first red flag, but I had already agreed to pay $100 up front for insurance and it had been charged to my card. 4 guys show up with one truck--we're told 2 are in training. As it turns out, 1 guy training to be a lead, and 2 guys who had 3 days under their belt. When they didn't pad or wrap any of our furniture. When we INSISTED, that added 2 hours to the process. And, the attitudes were so disappointing---felt like we were dealing with middle school kids. Again, didn't wrap our couch and DROPPED it on the way into the house, actually had to be told to NOT DRAG our fabric couch that now was damaged, to pick it up to carry it into the house. MANY scratches and dents on the wood furniture and very little regard for handling boxes which were amazingly intact and undamaged from moving across the country---and ended up crushed once delivered. OH, and they couldn't get all of our stuff onto the truck because it was so poorly organized/packed--plenty of room, just poorly done. So it required US to handle another load in an 8 foot trailer. BUT WAIT! After filling out the damage report with the "lead in training" person and not hearing from the "office" for a week, I called. Wonder of wonders, no damage report filed. We sent photos and got a 2 hour refund. THEN when the "repair" person didn't contact me, I called back, and they "couldn't find anyone near me" to repair my furniture. We settled on a dollar amount, but REALLY!!!! This was THE WORST move I have ever experienced--been moving local and long distance and haven't EVER had a negative experience, but this one TAKES THE CAKE. I had used Two Men And A Truck at least two times previously in the Mesa area, never had a problem, and was always satisfied...Until last month. I called the Tempe location to ask if they could give me a bid on helping me move my business office items to storage within Mesa, with a couple of items to be moved to my new office a few miles away. I was as meticulous as I could be on the phone about the office spaces and the number and kind of items that had to be moved. I told them that there were also some items on the desks and credenza in my office that would have to be packed. I was given a quote of between $600 and $815, depending how many hours that it would take. I had a much lower bid from another company, but thought that from past experience, I could rely on TMT. Nothing could have been further from reality. On the Friday that they were supposed to move things, two young, rather slender young men showed up in the afternoon at about 1:15 PM after calling prior to that to tell me that they were eating lunch. They showed up without any packing boxes, and told me that boxes were "not specified" in their directives. They called a lady, who they identified as their "manager," who showed up with boxes an hour or so after that, and I noticed a price tag on the boxes that were brought. The "manager" told the movers that they were to stay no later than it took to do "as much of the job" as they could until they had to drive to storage, then report back to the office no later than 6 PM. The two young men loaded one of the four office desks that I had specified, then mostly concentrated on love seats and chairs, and such, which were not nearly as heavy. They did this until about 5 PM, then told me that it was time to drive to storage, for which I gave them the key. At that time, they had moved less than half the office furniture, and asked for a credit card, so that they could charge for the move. The total came out to be $864 (more than the max quote), and they told me to call the Tempe office the following day to schedule the rest of the move, which I thought was paid for. When I called the following morning to talk to the "manager," I was told that I had not accurately described the size of the move, and that I had to pay an additional $900+ if I wanted the move finished...!! I told the lady NO, and called the "lower priced" mover. He told me, after I once again described the move, that he could do it the following Monday, that the price would be $99 an hour, and that he could do it in 2 to 3 hours. He showed up on Monday with another young man, and they loaded the entire remaining office items, including some packing, and had everything in storage in just under three hours...!! He apologized for taking that long, and said that it would not have, had he not had to re-arrange most of the items that had already been delivered there by TMAT...He then charged me a flat $300, less than a third of the amount quoted by TMAT to finish...!! I filled out an email questionnaire that night from TMAT for a man who described himself as "the president" of that company, and tried to convey my total dissatisfaction...I never heard back from him. TMAT charged me in two amounts for some reason, and I put in a dispute with my bank for a credit back on the lesser amount, Which would have left TMAT with $500 for less than half the move, which I thought was fair. I still haven't received final word from my bank...These guys are not fair in their dealings, IMO, and are NOT professional movers. I could have saved, by my estimation, over $500 by using the second moving company to begin with...So much for past experience...!! read more

Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience with the Tempe, Arizona Two Men and a Truck movers. I booked their movers to move my belongings from a studio apartment to a storage unit. The movers damaged the footboard to my faux leather queen sized bed. The movers laid the footboard on top of the metal legs that are attached to the headboard. The sharp metal edges gouged a hole into my footboard. I filed a claim with a supervisor but communication is lacking. These are supposed to be professional movers. Why would the movers think it would be acceptable to lay something that is leather on something with sharp metal edges? I am now filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau so that I will have an official claim and pictures elsewhere. read more

Let me start by saying I have used 2 Men And A Truck in the past and was very impressed. This last move I decided to go head and use the company I held in high regards but found it very disappointing. I found the guys were moving pretty slow but I figured as least they are taking there time to do my move correctly. This was not the case once to the new place they continued to move at a slow pace and chose not to take things apart and reassemble causing damage to my bed frame and my work out equipment. My bed frame now will not work properly so I will have to purchase a new one. My elliptical was slid through the dirt and was missing screws not only did I have to repair this piece of equipment I also had to clean out all the dirt that was inside of it from being pulled through the dirt. Once I noticed these problems I did reach out to the main office to see how we might be able to correct the problem but we have not heard back from 2 Men And A Truck so at this point I can only think they are not worried about what has happened at my home or to my things. I hope other have a much better experience then me. read more
